dad, you can't do science. You have shown that time after time. I am willing to get you started on learning, but you don't even know enough to ask intelligent questions yet.

The fact that I have persisted this long wouldn't make much sense if I wasn't sincere. I don't expect fireworks or some miracle to happen. I have no expectation, beyond that something happen, and that could literally be just me suddenly being a believer for no apparent reason. Thus far, there just hasn't been any sort of response, big or small. Even childish prayers I had as a kid had a remarkably low return (as a young kid, if I had lost something, praying to god would be a sort of last resort after I was out of ideas. Never believed, but anything is worth a try). Basically, if I ever got to the point when I was that young and naive that I would pray for help or hope, all was truly lost.

God knows us and what we need. I have to trust He is workin on it. If he could save me He could save anyone.

Also, I have read the bible before. I don't do it repeatedly in sequence, because reading it is what solidified my atheism into this nearly invincible mental monster. Recommendation: if you want belief, don't read the bible for the first time by yourself as an angsty, distraught 13 year old.

By read the bible I mean the milky stuff like the gospels and maybe some Psalms etc. I do not seek belief, I have that one.

That's okay, I really don't care what you think of God. I am just trying to help. And no, I am more than happy to go over the relevant facts, but you are afraid to even watch it.

Sorry but you too are lost when it comes to discussing reality. Please note, there is a difference between beliefs and knowledge. You believe in God because you cannot demonstrate his existence. I know evolution is correct because I can demonstrate that it is correct. Of course one has to be willing to learn.

What made your conversion so difficult? I find it unlikely, though not impossible, that you were a seeker for as long as I have been.

Sounds like cherry picking. If I am aware of doing that, it won't work. Purposely reading certain parts of the bible at the exclusion of others seems dishonest to me.
