Personally I loved "Life of Brian" by Monty Python. But I know a lot of Christians took offence. I wonder how God viewed it.

As far as aliens I was just saying some people believe we can do just what you proposed aliens would do, which is watch the earth from above (after we die of course). I believe even the wicked go to sleep and when they awake it will be time for their judgment which if its hell so be it. But I don't think we stay conscious after we die and watch the earth, or wicked sinners immediately go to hell before the time of judgment which is after the end of the world not during it.

You are going to have to ask someone who believes that to be the case. Because I don't. But I do think if God decided to torture people in hell for eternity it would be just, because I know he is just and can do no wrong.

This wont be what most want to hear
but the ONLY time I hear GOD make mention of laughing
is when he talks about how they rejected HIM
so he will LAUGH when their calamities come upon them.....
I think its in several places
most of our humor is wicked
but .................some laughter is good
as its written LAUGHTER does make good medicine etc............
but not what mos of man laughs at.......that is abomination.
but I suppose if a animal does something funny.............laughter is good
or in some cases it is...............
if its clean and offends none......................

Surely you don't want the world to remain evil forever
GOD will destroy the wicked and all its works one day
But SINCE he LOVES the world SO..............he gives us the way out
but when men MOCK the SON.................well, ponder that one
GOD did all to have us saved
because HE is RIGHTEOUS and KNOWS he will destroy the evil
WHICH man caused I might add
yet HE loves us SO...................
and man I was wicked vile , nasty
I just rejoice in HIS grace which both saved and changed me.
man GOD is very merciful...
perhas if deep down we really KNOW how evil we are
WE would focus on being THANKFUL for his Grace that changes our wicked nature also.

My advice is SINCE NONE of us IS GOD
lets not mock HIM for the lake of fire............
JUST focus on CHRIST and warn everyone you KNOW and tell them the GOOD NEWS
but lets not CHANGE the image of GOD so as we can sleep at night.

I mean with all the horrible things that go on in the world and how sinful people are, it's hard to see God as having a sense of humor. And most things that qualify for humor nowadays are (in hindsight) not really something to be laughed at yet we laugh anyway. But there is some good, clean humor and I imagine that nothing good exists in this world without having its ultimate source in God. Nowhere in the Bible does is even mention humor. So I wonder if humor is ultimately a human thing or if God could find things funny as well.

as one once said I concern not myself in matters too high for me.
all I need to KNOW is their is a lake of fire
and all who end up their get destroyed.........
I need no thoughts any further than that.
man tries so hard to figure it all out..........me ...I just study the scrips
follow CHRIST and teach the truth .
Believe me............whatever the punishment entails in that fire

GOD is not unjust whatever he does.

Deep down I value a really serious but humble conversation with people. When all the masks are put aside. When we talk like the humble ones at an AA meeting who admits all the ways they screwed up, in their lives and are blaming no one but themselves.
But in daily banter with folk, you need a comic mask, IMHO I do anyway.

most don't remember that GOD will abandon the generation of HIS WRATH
he knew they were never going to come
despite how often he warned them , or had men warn
GOD desires that none perish
but that they repent and be saved.

Yeah I use to put on a mask too, but after a while you get tired of hiding your true self. Eventually you just stop caring and trying to be funny all the time. I just let things flow wherever they may go. I use to try to force conversations or try to make every interaction with people a great one but now I'm okay with whatever happens, and just take it on a see as we go basis. Instead of going in with a plan or an outward appearance that is inconsistent with how I truly feel inside.

My true self is "grumpy, self-centered, narcissistic, needy, childish, stubborn, oversensitive, chip on my shoulder neurotic, spiteful, hateful".......the list goes on.

I'd assume some of those things would go away or lessen if you didn't spend so much time trying to hide them

Even just in my own experiences when I see God moving in my life or when I realize God is trying to tell me something a lot of the time it ends up being really funny! So just in my own experiences with God I believe He has a really cool, creative, and funny sense of humor.
