The point is in making religious demands. That does not equate to health suggestions made by the American Cancer Association.

Why are you talking about not eating meat on Fridays? Orthodox Christians don't eat meat on Wednesdays and Fridays.

When you quote Scripture,
when anyone reads TORAH, or the NEW TESTAMENT,
when anyone tells the TRUTH,

there are billions of people in thousands of religions who will object.

Do not compromise the word at all, ever, for there sake,
do not take away from God's Word, nor add to it, for any reason,
or God's Penalty applies.

I'm not sure what you're saying here...but it seems that you are suggesting that I am somehow taking away from or adding to God's word....so where did I do that?

Your reference to "respect".... raised the question of WHO are you going to respect - God or men ?
God is no respecter of persons, and never says to respect anything that is opposed to His Life, His Word, or harmful to His people - He curses anyone who seeks to curse His people , He does not respect them at all.... and so on.....

Vegans who eat almost no meat or animal protein are more likely to die of dementia. Some vegans sought nutritional supplements for what they lack in a meatless diet. A study of Seventh Day Adventists in Loma Linda, CA found that vegans lived longer than meat eaters. There is a larger than normal cluster of Seventh Day Adventists centenarians living in Loma Linda. Those who eat primarily plant based foods and occasional meat or fish may live the longest. T. Colin Campbell directed a very large study that linked higher meat consumption to a higher incidence of cancer among Chinese. He published, "The China Study (2006)."

All health benefits aside (and honestly there are so many studies out there that contradict each other) these verses aren't dealing with doing your best to educate yourself and be healthy, but rather are warning about demands being made of people and certain things being forbidden, which the Bible says is a departure from the faith.
