How could a global flood ever form such a sequence of rocks? Beyond that, these layers actually are twice as old as the dinosaurs, so perhaps they are pre flood?

We need to undertand the flood was not like filling up a bath tub. The flood as it was covering the earth would have deposited layers upon layers of sedimentation.

As to dating the rocks as being twice as old as the dinosaurs....recently we have been removing still soft tissue from dinosaur bones.
The question is, how can dino-tissue survive for over 65+ MY's? It appears the rock dated as twice as old as the dinosaurs are actually young.

Thanks, you beat me to it. It's also worth mentioning that the ark had three decks. The animals took up about half the interior with room to move.

You could not fit 15000 animals on half of a 500 foot boat. Thats 30 animals per foot.

you couldnt fit 1 brachiosaurus on this boat, let alone 15000 animals and their food.

Sure I could.
Bring onboard juvenile brachiosaurus. Ok, just solved that problem.

We should also keep in mind the average size animals is about as big as a large house cat. Many are smaller. The rodentia come to mind.

As i aid above...how could they not fit?

Thanks for the response. Here's something the anti-ark people can do...

Anyone can do the math. How many cubic feet was the ark?
Subtract the floor thickness and wall thickness.

How many of the following cages could you put into that space?

I suggest that the average size cage on the ark could have been 3’x1.5’x1.5’ which will allow a pair of animals 6.75 cubic feet of room to move around in. The cage size is the same as a crate that I purchased from a pet store to put our new puppy in.

God could have put Jupiter on the Ark, if He so desired.

Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

So how did the eggs get to the ship? And whoever the lobster guy is is pretty strange so im just going to ignore him for now.

A brachiosaurus leg bone alone is larger than 6.75 feet tall. Just the leg bone.

So do you think the ark was filled with thousands of eggs and baby animals?

The lobster guy thinks an army of 15000 baby animals and rolling eggs marched thousands of miles across the earth and or oceans to get onto a boat.

I must have missed this part of Genesis.

You were already answered....Bring onboard juvenile brachiosaurus. Their legs are not 6.75 feet tall.

As to the eggs, they were not required.

Show me in my post where I said what you say I said....or retract.
If you can't then I will have to report you for spreading dishonest statements about me.

As for someone claiming to be a christian...I wouldn't think they would respond that way.

So you think 15,000 baby animals marched the earth and crammed into perfectly stacked cages, and I guess their food for 3 days was just...i dont know, stored in barrels that they brought with them? The mother gorillas milked themselves and gave noah the milk (3 days worth)?

the lobster guy suggests cages with the dimensions of 3 feet by 1.5 by 1.5.

A baby elephant fresh out the womb is already 3 feet tall. They would have to cram that baby elephant in.

You forgot to mention I said..."average size cage on the ark"

Do you understand what average means?

So, you have problems with elephants..and cage sizes....but don't complain when smaller animals such as mice are given all that room.

They did the math

Lobster Guy is not strange. His beliefs are different than yours, that's all.

We can do the math right here. Do you also agree that 15,000 baby animals marched the earth and in the case of a 3 foot tall newborn elephant, crammed into perfectly sized and stacked cages for 3 days?

I never said 15,000 baby animals....you said that for me.
What I said was of the larger animals juveniles could have been brought on board. Got it?

Now, if you did the math (See post 105)...which I know you didn't ...you would see there was enough room for the food.
But, you didn't do the math.
