There you go again, misconstruing my argument. I am not accepting science despite the "facts" that the Bible reports.

By my interpretation, the facts are the lessons that are taught allegorically.

I see no reason they the stories need to be literally true for the lessons to be learned.

Ya, that doesn't really cover what all the writers and all the readers believed. Scripture says the earth is more like a tent.

Its a hypothetical question. What if the earth showed a calm history, without evidence of a global flood? What would it mean to you?
