A Certain Prospecter went and sold all he had for a grubstake to buy his supplies
to search for gold. He hocked and sold everything he owned to make a path and room for his illusions of striking it rich with a large deposit of gold.
He searched for years in the vast deserts going where no human would dare venture; out of fear of running out of water.
He found quite a few things along the way but never the Motherload. He got dissentary and was hanging on to his horse for dear life. finally he fell off, when he awoke there was a giant pink quartz crystal full of gold spider webs laying next to his head. He put his rain coat and a Mule-shoe on it; and staggered back to civilization, he ended up in the hospital and told his friends of his story, then he died, this is a true story.
it is called the lost Muleshoe mine, I have been there and also searched for it, I
found allot of other stuff but not gold. I found a whole mountain of a mineral I did not know, I did not take a sample or ever stake a claim.
The old prospector passed up a whole mountain of silver cause his heart was fixed on Gold. Are not we the same. If you can find a large deposit of almost anything at point ( A. ) and can move it to point (B.) You can cash-in at point ( c. )
So many times we miss smaller treasures, being blinded by our own Bias of what we want, If he was a multi prospector he could have retired nicely on the Silver. A small amount of Tungston is worth way more than gold. there are now allot of minerals worth more than gold if you can find enough in one spot...We miss so many treasures cause we are only looking in one direction, There are people today still extracting Gold on a small scale the hard way in 120 degree heat making 200.00 to 300.00 dollars a week.. It is called Drywashing. My uncle gave me the bug on all this Treasure Hunting and searching, He came within one mile of finding the lost Dutchman Mine. Me I found allot of Fools Gold..Some small amounts of flour Gold.I hope you see the core of this story as it applies to this thread in this forum....Mrghost....
