Oh, that's nothing. According to him, there was only one supercontinent on the planet until long after Noah's time, which subsequently broke up in today's landmasses without anyone noticing.

You know what I've discovered? I think AV1611VET is not serious about all these beliefs. He's just doing it for a laugh. I learnt from an old chap that AV's character comes from an old comic book back in 1960. Something called "Mad Comics" or something like that. I don't remember the exact title. He's just saying all this to watch our reaction. He'll then laugh about it over a glass of milk. The hint is in the Mad cartoon character. Most people don't know about it because it's from a 1960 comic boook.

As long as you think that way, you'll never find it. I love it when a scientist, after reading about the Flood, which wiped out every empire on the face of the earth, wonders to himself, "But why didn't other empires write about the Flood?"

Scientists don't necessarily need anyone to write about the flood. A massive destruction layer in which all populations except 8 people and all animal populations except those secured on a small ark were wiped out should stand out like a sore thumb be it in geology or archaeology.

But obviously God "cleaned it all up" for hygenic reasons or some such, thereby hiding the evidence for this massive object lesson in human history.

That keeps the game fun, that way people who don't respond to just being told something before they buy into it are going to miss the lesson.

Too bad God also allowed some not-so-good people to take advantage of the "gullible" on this planet using just this sort of "Don't bother with waiting for proof, just believe me!" attitude.

So either I can be a gullible person who believes in the Flood but is now open to being taken advantage of due to my massive gullibility, or I can be someone who waits to see if there's evidence for a claim, but miss God's mighty message.

Funny that.

1960 wasn't that long ago :)

Goodness me! You actually believe in the Flood story and all the animals going into the ark two by two? And don't tell me you believe the Tower of Babel is the origin of all the different languages we have today!!!
Yup.

Thank heavens.
A massive destruction layer in which all populations except 8 people and all animal populations except those secured on a small ark were wiped out should stand out like a sore thumb be it in geology or archaeology.
It did.

God didn't "hide" anything; and after talking to you (I think it was), I changed my stance about He removing everything. Remember? He piled those cocothings up by Dover? Also, I don't know how you would hide something if you broke it, but I'd have to say you certainly wouldn't document that you broke it, if you intention was to keep it hidden.
That keeps the game fun, that way people who don't respond to just being told something before they buy into it are going to miss the lesson.
To put it in today's terminology, God left "easter eggs" behind.

Guess what? I've discovered who the real AV1611VET is. No, he's not 53. He's actually not much older than me.

I was looking through "New Posts" about 12 hours ago and I saw a thread that has reached its 28th round (the bot automatically cuts off a thread and start a fresh one after 1000 posts). I thought it'd contain some of his weird posts so I went in and guess what? The whole thread contains only posts by him and it's all consecutive numbers. Go see it for yourself:

http://christianforums.com/showthread.php?t=7226510

I intervened and asked if he was all right. He said he was ok and then it struck me. He wanted to accumulate blessings. I used to do that when I first joined CF in January but I didn't become so obsessed. Now, let's be honest. Who would normally do that sort of a thing? Someone who's 53? No, it's usually someone much younger. A teenager.

Next, you find that his posts are always very short. He rarely defends his views which is why people think he's weird. The real reason is he keeps his posts short so he can have more posts and earn more blessings.

My conclusion: AV is about my age or at least no more than 15 or 16. He says all those things only to get a good laugh when people react. He enjoys being featured in fstdt.com. All these are traits of a much younger person.

I'm sure AV is muttering violent curses under his breath against me as he goes, "Darn, how did beamishboy find out so much!!!"

Well, all I know is AV is the greatest Poe to have ever lived on this earth.
Forasmuch as I would like to accept the flattery behind this epithet, I must abstain.

Alas, your acceptance is not necessary -- although I too would prefer this title not be bestowed upon you; partially because I don't think you're poeing it up.

Personally, he's been at it for way way too long. I have serious doubts that anybody could keep a mask up for that long, with that degree of consistency.

I've shown from the link that he's started and filled up 27 whole threads and he's on to his 28th and all of them contain nothing but a series of consecutive numbers. Would a fully grown 53 year old do that? Even I don't do that sort of thing, but then I'm much more mature than my peers. But I don't believe my classmates would do it either.
