He classified. You, a Darwinist, are fooled.
Obviously, his classification is wrong.

How do we know that? How is it obvious?

However, what is obvious is that your original statement that the definition was created by an evolutionist was wrong.

You define (classify) that human is an ape. Then human, no matter what, is an ape. Then you can not use it in the reasoning which argued that human is not evolved from ape. To you, it is a definition, but people do not accept that definition.

Not knowing this basic logic is shameful.

Humans are just one of the species (including modern apes) which evolved from the common ancestor of all.

Apes and humans are all in family Hominidae.

It’s that simple , Homo sapiens is a great ape and they evolved from other now extinct great apes like the Australopithecus or Ardipithecus species. Chimps and bonobos evolved from other extinct great apes and gorillas or orangutans from still other lineages of extinct great apes. There was a great ape lineage which is the ancestor of all of these.

Can you name a feature of apes that is not shared by humans?

Can you name a feature of humans that would exclude them from the specific biological definition of apes - either as Hominoidea or Hominidae?

Linnaeus classified the great apes he knew about as degenerate Humans based on their anatomy . Later naturalists took the other great apes out of Hominidae once they realized the these were not humans . Modern genetics has placed the great apes back in Hominidae. Pongidae is a retired name and is no longer accepted because biologists are using the same standards for humans that they use for every other species

juvenissum . Whut? Huh? That makes no sense. Humans are apes so they can’t be descended from other apes . Is that what you’re saying ?

Humans are not apes.

I salute the wrongness of your answer. It was more beautiful than I'd ever hoped it could be.

I’ve got a biology degree . Humans ARE apes . All of the great apes are family Hominidae. Once they sequenced the human genome in the late 90s the next one was the chimps. There had been an argument from the late 60s on, about changing the great ape and human family names to a single one . The two sequenced genomes were the defining moment . So yes humans are great apes not only because we said so but because our genes say so. Anatomically chimps and gorillas have more similar bodies (because of a similar lifestyle) but genetically humans and chimps are more closely related. The former family name, Pongidae, for the great apes is retired and no longer used.

My biology teacher had to teach us those things too but honestly He did not believe humans came from apes, no more than I did before I took the classes. According to Darvins theories .... one can write that is also true. It is after all a theory. Try giving a phone to an ape and no way will it write as good as a human because they don't speak human languages.

Not all apes are alike, no. Doesnt change the fact that humans are apes. Your belief has nothing to do with this fact.

Genetic and mutations disproves evolution simple as that . Darvin did not have knowledge of DNA if he did he would never make such assumptions , according to large studies of mutations all organisms either are trying to fix mutations (trying to recover good genes , which proves that they had to be better before they occured ) or are mutating into thymine over time , if Earth was as old as they tell us every DNA would be containing only thymine and life would not be possible .
