Yes, Brinnie. It's in the autobiography of his youth, called : 'A Painted House'. It's a great read, unsurprsingly. I love his books.

I gotta confess, i haven't read his books...the reason i noticed his name is because the movies that intrigued me and had the watch-again-and-again-factor were, many times, his movies.

If i ever saw his name attached to a movie i knew i was gonna like it.

(In regards to verse 7) - V17. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.
...it's like loaning to God to give to the poor. which might be a wise investment according to Pro 28:27 (He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses).
