"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their
right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man
might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is
wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the
number of the beast: for it is the number of a man;
and his number is Six hundred threescore and six"
(Revelation 13:16-18).
In the original Greek, the word translated as "mark"
means a scratch or etching; so the mark of the beast
could refer to a mark placed on the hand or forehead
through scarification, which is the deep scratching
of the skin so as to leave a permanent scar.
"666", the number of the man who will be the beast,
could be cut indelibly with a knife into the skin of
the hand or forehead in a form that looks like "777",
for the 6th letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet,
which also stood for the number 6, looks like a "7".
So whenever you see a symbol that looks like a
scratch from a beast, a monster, "777", it could be
a disguised form of "666".
The 6th letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet, which
also stood for the number 6, is transliterated into
the Modern Latin alphabet as a "W". So "WWW" is
another disguised form of "666". And it is already
ubiquitous, not only on the internet, but in
packaging and advertising, when a website URL is
indicated.
On many UPC codes, two thin black lines represent
the number 6. These same two thin black lines also
serve as "control codes", which come at the
beginning, middle, and end, of the UPC codes. So
a disguised form of "666" is already on almost
everything for sale.
Now that disguised forms of "666" are already on our
websites, and on the things that we buy, the beast
will take the next step and could place a disguised
form of "666" on all buyers and sellers.
The symbol of the 6th Hebrew letter repeated three
times, which looks like "777", could be sold to the
public by the miracle-working False Prophet as "The
mark of Christ". And so people could be fooled into
receiving the mark of the Antichrist, just as they
could be fooled into worshipping the Antichrist as
the true Christ.
"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is
Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall
arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it
were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before" (Matthew 24:23-24).
"And the beast was taken, and with him the false
prophet that wrought miracles before him, with
which he deceived them that had received the mark
of the beast, and them that worshipped his image"
(Revelation 19:20).
"And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast
before him, and causeth the earth and them which
dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose
deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders,
so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the
earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that
dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles
which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they
should make an image to the beast, which had the
wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to
give life unto the image of the beast, that the
image of the beast should both speak, and cause that
as many as would not worship the image of the beast
should be killed" (Revelation 13:12-15).
"If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of
his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire
and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels,
and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of
their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and
they have no rest day nor night, who worship the
beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the
mark of his name.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they
that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of
Jesus" (Revelation 14:9-12).
The church will have to go through the coming
tribulation.
"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and
shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations
for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another, and shall hate one
another. And many false prophets shall rise, and
shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall
abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved"
(Matthew 24:9-13).
The rapture will be after the tribulation
(Mark 13:24-27), and will take Christians no higher
than the clouds to meet Jesus in the air while's He's
descending down to the earth at His second coming
(1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).
