That is the reason that I have to share with each, what his marvelous word says, and at times use his word for correction, for instruction in righteousness. I had to write a book about it-The Saviour of all men by Barry Dennis. So it would be a very long drawn out process here. In it you will read when the end of time was, what happened in the last day, who the man of sin was, the name of the anti-Christ, what took place in hell when Jesus descended there and who he saved, the dead have been raised, who is born of God, who our accuser was, who/what Jesus Christ destroyed, what the judgment was and what we judge, that we are in the eighth day, that everything has been accomplished, dinosaurs(behemoth) are in the Bible, the age of the earth and many other things by the use of scripture. Smile for God loves us

It's a good question. I'm just confused how Jesus could have returned and no one else knows about it. Plus, how is it that the end has already come and here we are with a world that is still killing each other and many more people rejecting the reality of God.

But when someone is referring to something that is said-say in the Gospel of John, we say that it is found in John 1:17 for an example, or would you like to read all of the gospel of John to find what one is talking about? How do we know where Jesus was born was it by reading the verse of Matthew 2:1, where do we know where Jesus Christ was crucified was it in the verse of Luke 23:33? Or do we say it is somewhere there about some place close to the middle towards the back. What you are claiming is not very sensible, "Just to be clear, there are no verses in any of the Bible." You do not come to the knowledge of the truth by putting two or more verses of scripture together as you say. The Holy Spirit leads us into truth. And you need the entire council of God to come to full knowledge of the truth. Throwing a couple of verses together can easily lead to false teaching.

And there are no verses in the Bible. I'm just pointing out a truth about the Bible. When you quote a verse and use it as a proof text, you are quoting out of context from a larger body of text. It's okay to quote verses, but verses alone do not communicate the whole council of God. I've seen so many people make a truth claim, and then just throw out some verse and claim that verse supports their claim.

Jeremiah 29:11 is one such verse that gets a lot of misuse this way.

Of course not. How is that possible? If that's we had of the New Testament would we have the full council of God?
