THE FACTS: With COVID-19 hospitalizations steadily inching up in the U.S. since early July, some on social media are falsely claiming that federal employees were told that mask requirements and other pandemic-era restrictions will start returning this fall.

“BREAKING: Alex Jones says a TSA whistleblower has told him TSA employees were instructed on Tue that masks are coming back by October for travelers & full Covid restrictions/lockdowns by December due to a new ‘dangerous variant’ out of Canada,” read a tweet with the video, which had more than 38,000 likes and 20,000 shares on Thursday."

The claim originated on the Aug. 18 episode of “The Alex Jones Show,” where its namesake host said an anonymous “high-level manager in the TSA” and an unnamed “Border Patrol-connected” source told him about the alleged announcement. Jones is known for spreading conspiracy theories.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. No such announcement was made to TSA managers, an agency spokesperson told The Associated Press. A spokesperson for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which issued a now-expired travel mask mandate in 2021, confirmed that such rumors are “utterly false.”

To clarify as well, I don't like Republicans any more than Democrats, I believe they are all under the sway of the enemy.

Just like when satan tempted Jesus with all the kingdoms of the world (because they were in his hand) I see no change from that now.

My wife and I were never covid deniers...we got the shots, wore the masks and all.

But we're getting rather cynical about it now. I remember being on various Air Force missions, wearing a parachute on an airplane design in which it was known one could not survive even the act of bailing out. Or wearing a parachute while flying over the Arctic and getting the briefing that the water was so cold we would die within thirty seconds of the splash. You just look at the parachute and say, "Eh." You were either going to survive the mission or you weren't going to survive the mission, but the parachute was irrelevant.

I'm saying it is the responsbility of parents and the church to teach / spread the Word of God. Take responsbility. Our schools have no obligation to "teach Jesus Christ" anymore than they do Muhammed.
If parents take their Christian faith seriously, Jesus should be apparent through how they and their children live their lives in the classroom and school board meeting.
