Yes, I registered, made a password, gave my e-mail addy and all that, but then when I tried to intro, got a msg saying I wasn't allowed to post. I'll try again later today. Just reading up this morning on CF and then I have to take my dog to obedience class, run errands, MAIL VALENTINES!!!!!!, etc. Don't think I'll have any more computer time today.

I intro'd myself, but have very little time to check things out. My hubby's sick and the youngest daughter is staying with Mom (me) since she's got the flu so I probably won't be able to get online much until sometime next week. I'm "reading up" on CF while everybody's asleep this morning. It looks like a really neat forum and I'm looking forward to it.

An update on my mom: the biopsy results came back late yesterday ... it is cancer. She will have a pet scan tomorrow to determine what kind of cancer which will then help determine what course of treatment. Unfortunately, the doctors have already told us (prior to the bronchoscopy) that while surgery is the preferred treatment plan for lung cancer, my mom's frail condition and COPD might make surgery a less than acceptable treatment plan. So if y'all could keep praying, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Morning all. It's cloudy and overcast but a glorious morning. Praise God for his mercies. Bible study this morning then a little shopping (emphasis on the little) then home to get some work done. I am re-doing a lamp shade and so far so good. I have not done it before and when it is done I am going to attempt to reupholster a recliner chair. It's a Lazy Boy about 15 years old and it just will not come clean anymore but the frame is in good shape so I am going to give it a try. I have done small projects in the past so I am just hoping I can do it. If anyone has any advice for me please feel free to give it. The hardest part right now figuring is how much fabric I will need. Everyone have a blessed day.

Good luck on the upholstery project. I've never tried anything like that and hope some time to get enough time/talent together to make a slipcover for a little chair that I love but is worn/tattered. I just got in from Bible study today too. It was great as always. Blessings to everyone.

I could not find a topic to just chat in so I opened this one. I'm waiting for the car repair shop to open so I can have the muffler on my truck welded back up. I also need to go to DMV and get a new license but that will have to wait for another day---a good hair day for the picture. LOL I'll have to get my Flowbee out!
I took the dog for a walk this morning and missed the person I was suppose to meet. I think I was a little late and I don't have her phone # so now I feel guilty.
What is everyone else up to today? I do pray it is full of Gods blessings

WOW! Velentine.. My prayers are with you...I had to go to DMV in Sept...Man was it crazy....Must have been the time I went.

Today I'm feeling pretty good.I had be healing from bronitce and sinus infectin OUTCH! no fun.

Just relasxing right now...We out earlier for groceries...to COSTCO..Fun.

Just going o surf the web and see what kind of trouble I can get into.LOL

Wow! I had some day today....Glad its all over.Had teen probs w/my grandaughter.She ran away last night.Even though my daughter knew where she was at .Its still put some stress on the Fam.

She's home now.... her grandpa and I had a talk with her.

I was given the gift of concern (worry) when God was passing out gifts. I'm terrible about being overwrought, but at the same time knowing God will take care of any situation if only I let Him do His job. Glad things are better now.

Hi Valentine and AngelDove1. I have a niece who is always in and out of trouble so I can relate to what you are saying AngelDove1, we just keep praying for her. Thanks for the encouragement on the upholstry project Valentine, I sure need it. Our projects around here are keeping us both busy so I have not started yet on the chair but I will let you know how it turns out, if I can do it I know you can too.
