Just checking in -- after Mass, Dr. Appt, etc. went to visit my baby sister to take a birthday gift and stayed wayyyy longer than I anticipated. Really glad she's on a sugar-free diet, cuz there was no birthday cake for me to scarf down. It was a nice visit, though, so dinner was very late tonight and I'm "plumb tuckered out". Thought I'd check in, say hello, read up a little bit and see you all tomorrow. Blessings, everyone .

I will be out 2morrow ,till late noon.

I had voluntered last fall for a collage program, for research on fibromyalgia,and artheritis.

My 1st visit to meet the Dr's is 2morrow morning.

I will also be taking a class on how to do my daily diary on a lap top.

So guys my morning and noon will be a busy one.

I will miss you guys.

But I'll be back later on that day.

Sorry that I haven't been online much lately, dear friends. Things have been crazy with getting my mom back for additional testing, etc. She will be meeting with her radiation oncologist some time next week (we hope) to begin treatment. Surgery was ruled out because of the poor condition of her lungs (due to COPD), so she'll be getting radiation treatments. My family has been very dysfunctional from the get-go, and all this with my mom has made things worse. Because I have a wonderful, loving relationship with my husband and my daughter & her family and because I'm a believer, I'm considered to be an oddball at best (freak would probably be a more accurate term), I'm all too frequently the subject of their scorn and ridicule. Please be praying for all of us.

My online time has been spotty at best lately. This morning had to take my little car in to get a new battery installed and then make my semi-monthly run to Sam's Club for stocking up on frozen foods, tp , paper towels, coffee beans, etc., laundry detergents, etc. We find its much less expensive to buy non perishables in bulk. I then installed a little dvd player that I got at Sam's for just $30.88 . Can't believe I figured out how to hook up the red wires, yellow wires and white wires without some technical assistance. Then got a call from my sweet son who's in the war. It was soooooo good to hear from him.
TreysNana, my dear little friend . My heart is burdened for you and this terrible situation. You, my dear, are so precious!!! Please, please know that you and your family are in my prayers. I am saddened to hear of the misguided members of the family that bring you unhappiness. May God enfold you in his loving arms and protect your heart from pain.

Casual Friday? Every day is casual day for me. I'm lucky enough to work in an office with no dress code. My standard work attire is a sweater, jeans, tennies. Yet another reason why I love my job!

My husband fell off the ladder today and really hurt himself. He won't let me take him to the doctor. Maybe he will be better tomorrow. I gave him some of my pain pills I take for my back and he has been sleeping. Earlier in the day we went to a movie called "Good Night and Good Luck" or something like that. It was so boring we left before the end. Yawn I better go to bed so I can take care of hubby tomorrow.

Howdy everybody... almost evein' here, and I'm just now able to get online. Not sure for how long tho. but when i got on CF... I was blessed with a little doggie!...lol. now I need to go up to the blessing exchange section to get blessings, to feed her...lol. yes, my doggie is a 'her'. Dont know who blessed me, but I like the little doggie... she's so cute.
