CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had no idea so many people on CF hitched together.
Not to sound mean or anything, but I think it would always bug me to have to be reminded that I met my spouse on CF of all places. Might make the marriage feel cheap in some way.

I think at this point Saucy and Miss S could get married, have children post photos and send out yearly family Christmas cards and some of us would still suspect it was some elaborate prank on all of us.

I think at this point Saucy and Miss S could get married, have children post photos and send out yearly family Christmas cards and some of us would still suspect it was some elaborate prank on all of us.

That's amazing. I'm not a fan of online dating, but I could see something naturally unfolding in a setting such as this. Online dating sites seem too contrived, forced, like people are looking for a job...lol

If it wasn't for the distance between people, I'm willing to bet we'd see even more. I know some people have made some pretty big moves to be with their CF interest. Sapphyre in particular comes to mind.

I've never had luck with the CF thing. Only bad experiences, so I'm not open to meeting people off of here for that purpose. As friends, sure, but not for romantic reasons.

Well, I have been in love before, and recently broke up with a great guy. But...that's just it. Love tends to go away...eventually. So, I guess I'm afraid to 'try' at it again.
Brandon Heath, a Christian singer, he has a song...Love Never Fails. I don't listen to that song, anymore...it's hard to believe such a love exists.
But, let's keep this thread positive. lol
