...which is what the Elect do. There are plenty of (other) people for whom the Bible never makes sense no matter how often they're exposed to it.
Your theorizing is defective and inconsistent. If God didn't show any partiality, everyone would be saved. You aren't actually a Unitarian, are you?God does not show partiality. Calvinism is wrong.

It's true that I do not come to my beliefs by rationalizing my way to them. Sure, it's appealing to think we are the ones who run the universe by ourselves, but Pride is not a virtue.Your dogma is unbiblical and unreasonable.
Calvinists claim God shows partiality and only judges some men.
Partiality is not defined as making the choice. The partiality (if there is any) is in WHY the specific choice(s) is made. Since the non-Calvinists insist that God chooses based on foreseen faith, it is the non-Calvinists who teach that God shows partiality.
Yes, we're reading some very strange stuff here. God "only judges some men."Untrue. Maybe you should read Calvin because you clearly, displayed in hundreds of posts, have no idea what you are arguing against.
God judges us for our actions on earth according to scripture.
Yes.
Your turn, "thatbrian."
God judges us for our actions on earth according to scripture.
Yes. This passage doesn't do anything towards settling the election vs freewill/works righteousness argument, however. I assume you didn't notice that, though.
God judges for our actions on earth according to Scripture, AFTER WE DIE, not before we are born.

That, however, wasn't the statement you asked us to affirm or deny. You are denying Calvinist. Good!! That's a good start.
Unconditional Election:
God does not base His election on anything He sees in the individual. He chooses the elect according to the kind intention of His will without any consideration of merit within the individual.
That, however, wasn't the statement you asked us to affirm or deny.It was this:
"Calvinists claim that their election is unconditional and unrelated to God's judgment of their lives on earth."
