SparkyMaddie:I'm getting flowers done up my right foot to ankle for my 19th bday with my mom
Yes, it's true that once you get one you want more. Just as well to be sure about it beforehand. And yes, many women are getting the urge to do it that maybe would not have done years ago.I have 10 tattoos spread out all over my body...My wife got here first tattoo this year. She is talking about getting another. Remember: Tattos are like lays potatoe chips you cannot just get one.

Well, it's what the over 18s seem to do these days; it's used to be just young men but now even more young women than men seem to want to do it, anyway.I have no tatoos myself, however I have a daughter and step daughter who both have several.
Are there any Christians Out there who have Tattoos?
I hear all the time about what it says it Leviticus but I think, for me anyway ,that I have had alot of chances to Minister the word when People have asked me about my Tattoos.
This is a place where we can talk about tatts and also what they mean to us as Christians.
A lot of Christians find that faith based tattoos are proven effective in witness conversations. Romans 3.23 is a great Gospel verse.I have four tattoos, but not a Christian one. I've been thinking about getting a verse on my arm or something, not sure what yet. I like Romans 3:23 as one.
Yeah I would like to get one with a verse on it - I love 'Shine like stars in the Universe' That would look great in some good script.I have four tattoos, but not a Christian one. I've been thinking about getting a verse on my arm or something, not sure what yet. I like Romans 3:23 as one.
Yeah Romans 3:23 would make a fab tattA lot of Christians find that faith based tattoos are proven effective in witness conversations. Romans 3.23 is a great Gospel verse.
A lot of Christians seem to find that faith based tattoo designs help in witness conversations. My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 inked on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also, and I'm sure other conversations have arisen also because of her willingness to have it done.About a year and a half ago I got "King of Kings, Lord of Lord, YWHW" tattood on my right forearm in Hebrew. It is great way to start conversations, especially when they ask you what it says.
@alexier:Yeah Romans 3:23 would make a fab tatt
QueenCat said:Around here (Bible Belt), it is common, especially among evangelical Christians, for the girls under about 40 to have religious tattoos. More do than don't, especially when you get to the under 30 crowd. I hardly know any female at church that is under 30 that does not have a tattoo.
Yes, a lot of Christians feel the same way as you about them; definitely seems like you as a Christian woman are tattooed without regrets. So does yours bring you into witness conversations?I prayed about mine alot, and the conclusion that was given to me was that my tattoo was designed to bring glory to God in a way that not only is it an outward statement of faith, but a great conversation starter and therefore evangelical tool. I have cross with a bible verse between my shoulder blades. And I havn't regretted it.
Hi there; so are you done getting inked yet?I have one tattoo and I've recently put it on a shirt for my kids and some others at local events as they've always been intrigued by it. The shirt is in my description if anyone wants to look at it and all the profits go to our local church.
19? that's a lot of ink!I have 19. None of them are "bad", and yes, I use them as a witnessing tool. A lady one time came up to me one Sunday-she was obviously just out of church. She looked disdainfully at me and said "What does your mother say about your tattoos and aren't you ashamed of them?"
I looked at her and said "Well, my mother is dead, and what is so incredibly awesome is that God called me in the dead of my sins, covered in tattoos, living a hard life...and He still loved me and still called me! So I figure that if I'm good enough for God to love me, then what do I care what other people think about my tattoos? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Her mouth dropped and she didn't have another word to say. haha
Don't worry yourself. I can see that if you can, getting it changed would be something that you'd welcome; and it's amazing what some artists can do; like, e.g., a woman with an ex-bf's name 'Bill' could get it changed to say something like 'Bible'. Talking to your artist might help with ideas.I have a pentagram on my wrist i want another tattoo over it as its A, am no longer wiccan , B it was done poorly ( there is a little bit missing in it )
But am unsure what i can get done on it there is a tattoo just below it so i dont have much room for anything.
When i got my last tattoo done the tattoo artiest said that it looked like it was a really bad job on it.
Sounds almost like phrases from the allegorical 'The Pilgrim's Progress'!Well I have a new Tattoo...I love the band Twentyone pilots and their lyrics are excellent (Christian guys) so I have had the lyrics from Doubt put on my lower arm. Here's a photo of it.
