I really would like to get some tat work done. I have had people say that its wrong but i know what i would like done and they would only include things that speak to and from my heart concerning the Lord and my loved ones (especially lost).

Does it matter? Not a single time has the Lord discouraged me in the subject because He knows my motivations are pure. I don't intend to do anything that would offend him.

I thought I would (finally show you!) one of my Christian tattoos and another one which my guy, George designed for me, which I will get done over the next month
Not sure what colours to go for on that one - I'm guessing purple robe but I may have some scripture put into the scrolls.

Droidbee - I would also only ever get tattoos that I would always want to see, personal and also that mean something to me.
I don't think it matters - in fact people ask me about mine and because the one with faith on the cross that I have is on my neck so I tell people its the Lord spurring me on in faith and I actually feel that sometimes, when I am down I know God is still there pushing on my journey!

I've never wanted a tattoo, but I've been seeking God more actively lately, and I'm starting to think that a simple cross on the inside of my right wrist might be good. Is it safe to tattoo the inside of the wrist?

I have a pentagram on my wrist i want another tattoo over it as its A, am no longer wiccan , B it was done poorly ( there is a little bit missing in it )
But am unsure what i can get done on it there is a tattoo just below it so i dont have much room for anything.
When i got my last tattoo done the tattoo artiest said that it looked like it was a really bad job on it.

I currently have one small one with my last name on the back of my right shoulder but planning a new one atm.... Im getting a musical stave (im a musician) with the noting to a line in a song by hillsong called yahweh.... where the words are 'forever yahweh' and i will have the words below printed in hebrew.....

Strider - you'll be ok with it on the inside of your wrist...should look good that...nice and simple...says it all!

I haven't gotten any, yet! I'm saving up for 2 memorials that I want done and then a fairy with the word "faith" making up its wing....sounds dumb I know, but it looks really good in the drawing they did for me

I never checked out this part of the forums... glad I did. I really like tattoos? But, is that bad or good?
People tell me getting a tattoo is a sin... is that true?

Also, I don't know if you guys watch it, but I enjoy watching LA Ink.

Are there any Christians Out there who have Tattoos?
I hear all the time about what it says it Leviticus but I think, for me anyway ,that I have had alot of chances to Minister the word when People have asked me about my Tattoos.
This is a place where we can talk about tatts and also what they mean to us as Christians.

I have 5.
They all have positive/inspirational meaning,
but not neccessarily religious.

I have a bunch of tattoos myself and plan on getting more. Not all of them were God inspired as I wasn't exactly walking with the Lord when I got them. But the couple I did get while walking with God(one I just wanted and one that was inspired by a break through with God) were pretty awesome to see God move thru. On one of them, I prayered and believed God that the artist would have peace and that the Holy Spirit would give him the ideas and that it would be better than I could think of. I got a sail ship on the back of my right fore arm that came out AWESOME! I was thoroughly pleased and the artist had fun too! Truely Proverbs 10:22-When God blesses there is NO SORROW!! Everyone was blessed!

I have two and am awaiting my third one. A kingfisher with my son's name, popeye (which is a replica of my father's tattoo after he died in April and the one I am going to have next is a humming bird with my wife's name.

From what I can gather, God was talking to the Israelites through Moses in Leviticus. Lev 1:2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them... Lev 27:34: "These are the commands the Lord gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites".

I have one like this on my left shoulder. It's my kids names made into a cross by sharing the letter "A". Trust me the real one looks a lot better :{)

The second one is over my heart. It's a broken heart bound by Jesus' crown of thorns with a flower growing out of the crack. With the inscription Isaiah 61:1-11. Read the passage. I think you will see it fits the design.
