Assisted unarmed men to destroy kingdoms.
Caused a virgin to give birth.
Turned water into wine instantaneously.
Fed thousands with one boy's lunch.
Healed lepers.
Healed the blind.
Raised the dead.
Walked on water.
Raised Himself back to life.


Almost every single time God moves in this world He does so outside and beyond the realm of our physical laws.

My avatar isn't an idol it is an Assyrian king referred to in the bible as the great and noble Ashubanipal. Where have I attacked the word of God or acted dishonestly? Game playing? I certainly like to use humour in discussions, but never to evade an issue or deceive. There are a lot of Christians who interpret scripture quite differently from you, who have no problem with the science of evolution, if you want to accuse us of idolatry, you need to show from scripture that evolution is an idol, otherwise you are making false accusations against your brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Law, the Torah, of course includes Genesis. So whatever stance we take on the origins of the earth must be dependent on the commandments to love.

What method God used to put us on the planet is secondary to Christ.

You are quite skillful at stringing together all these guilt by association links. But doesn't it concern you your accusations put you in some rather bad company yourself, like when the Pharisees used guilt by association to condemned Jesus for eating with tax collectors and sinners?

Have you read the verses after Paul talks about sacrifices to demons? The issue was meat in temples being sacrificed to idols, but Paul goes on to say that they don't have to worry about meat sold in the marketplace, even though it probably came from the local temple, nor were they to worry about eating in people's houses even though that meat could have come from the temple and been sacrificed to an idol.

1Co 10:25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 26 For "the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof." 27 If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, "This has been offered in sacrifice," then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience-- 29 I do not mean your conscience, but his. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else's conscience?

The same issue came up in Romans.

It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

You weren't offering the sacrifice to an idol if you bought the meat in a market place. There is no guilt by association, even if that very lamb chop had been taken from the pagan altar half an hour before. It was only a problem was if someone with a weak conscience thought it was a sin to eat the meat but followed you example in eating it and sinned because they though it was wrong. I doubt my avatar is going tempt you to worship pagan idols, I don't even think the statue of Ashurbanipal was even worshipped as an idol. Since it is not going to lead you into sin and it isn't sinful to have a jpeg of an ancient statue as an avatar, I'll just repeat what Paul said to the Romans: Who are you to pass judgement on the servant of another?

ANYONE WHO LIKES TO DEBATE EVOLUTION ONLINE: Here is what I have found out from debating many, many evo fans. Start asking the Qs at the bottom of page 9 and you will get no answers. You will get evasions, just as I stated, early on in this string, would happen here. You will get a variety of reasons for why you are getting those evasions (Aedophon came up with an original excuse, gotta give him credit for that), but you will get evasions. Every time.

And those Qs are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of using the Socratic method to reveal the truth about evolution.
