Bleach seems to be really "up and down" with their episodes. Some of them are just amazing, and then other one's seem like they don't make any sense.

The episode where Ichigo finishes his training and arrives to fight Kuchiki is amazing. Possibly my favorite episode of any anime.

Those are the two pairs that I support, Lol! (Not like, majorly support, since Kubo has the last word in it, but those two are how I think it should be. :) )

Yeah Bleach is up and down because they have fillers. The Bount and the episodes with the princess are fillers to. The Anime is catching up to the Manga. But if you watch the Japan version before it is translated it is worth the wait. The manga is so cool. It is getting good now.

I prefer the manga to the anime these days. The anime has gone way downhill - it started with the atrocity known as the Bount arc(s), which clearly sucked away a lot of the animation budget from the next two segments (excluding that 10-or-so-episode filler that comprised the 130s range). The best animation quality in the series, hands down, was during the Soul Society arc - it had a gritty texture to it, which the later episodes don't have. Neither do the movies, but that's to be expected from movies, and I think that's fine if not desirable.

Partially, I prefer the filler to be set up in the way the most recent one was, so that it's disconnected from the main storyline and only lasts for one season instead of two. In that way, episodes 168-189 are more like the 2nd OVA and the 2 (soon to be 3, come mid-December) movies. Now, whether or not my opinion will change is a big question mark, as I haven't watched past 168; I wasn't going to trap myself and get frustrated like I did with the Bount arc, so I made sure to wait until the fillers were over to consider watching them.

I keep up with the manga weekly, though (currently, chapter 335).

The German pronunciations of the Bounts' English voice actors are atrocious. Not to mention that the Bount storyline itself seems long and pointless, the drawn-out fights with attack-by-attack descriptions are tedious, and the comedic relief from the dolls is annoyingly saccharine. Maybe I'm over-simplifying, but the whole series seems to me to be an Inuyasha clone, except without the sense of foreboding, the well-timed and appropriately-portioned humor, or the interesting story-line and side-arcs. Then again, my preference for seinen plays a significant role in my feelings on the anime, so take my perspective with a grain of salt.
