go ahead laugh and deny there's anything to be concerned about there is a real reason why so many doctors and others in the medical industry are concerned and won't take the stuff. You do realize there is a difference betwen topical, inhaled, injected, and oral intake of these substances right? Some things are safe on the skin and are dangerous to swallow, for example. There also a reason why some labels say to not use them in your eyes.

Ok, which of the substances on the list are toxic to use in a vaccine but perfectly ok to use in your normal everyday life?

The other major consideration behind getting the vaccine is to prevent spreading it to other people who are much more vulnerable to getting seriously ill from H1N1--particularly young children and pregnant mothers.

I can tell you that if my daughter's daycare staff brought in H1N1 and had refused to be vaccinated, and got her or any of her classmates sick, I would be very angry. It's not just about you, it's also about the people you come in contact with.

And this goes for the overall vaccine debate, too. People are dying from preventable diseases because parents are being deceived into thinking that vaccines are harmful. They are relying on herd immunity to keep their children from getting sick. My daughter received the full vaccine schedule (including flu shots) and has been absolutely fine. But if enough kids don't get the vaccines, herd immunity will go away, and people will start dying from measles and mumps and pertussis all over again. It's not fear mongering, our pediatrician has seen children die and nearly die because they were not vaccinated. So please don't put my kid at risk by not getting vaccinated.

Here is a real question for the anti-vaccine folks. Would you be willing to be exposed to a live culture of Smallpox or Polio without a vaccine? Assuming you are old enough to have been vaccinated, I can almost promise you that as long as we used an Asian strain, your vaccine would be worthless because of it's age. So, would you put your money where your mouth is knowing full well what both Smallpox and Polio can and have done to people?

The Smallpox vaccine alone is responsible for saving an estimated 7 MILLION lives a year (based on the number that died per year before the vaccine). Since we started vaccinating we have eradicated Smallpox from the wild. It is gone, no child will ever have to suffer the agonizing death of this horrible virus because of modern medicine.

Yes even if they recommend it. I've had extensive experience dealing with doctors with my kiddos and what I have learned is they're recommendations aren't always best. I'll take their recommendations, do some research, pray about it, and use my best judgement.

I remember reading the article about the kid who did a science project on hydrogen hydrocide (or was it dihydrogen monoxide?) and found that many people agreed it should be banned when he produced the list of harmful properties it had.

While I love 60 Minutes, a story from that show from the '70s is 1) not up-to-date on the current situation, either scientifically or in terms of business practices of vaccine-making companies, and 2) even if it were up-to-date, would not be sufficient to prevent me from following my doctor's advice. It might make me ask my doctor questions, but I already have discussed this at length with her, and I find that her rationale for getting the vaccines are not due to any unwarranted pressure from corporate or government interests, but on her PERSONAL experience with these diseases.

Squalene has not been shown to be harmful and neither has GP120, mkay? Squalene is found in most high end commercial moisturizers. I'd like you to show me these studies.

Yes, but when has the flu ever not been serious for young children and pregnant women?

Why all the hysteria over Swine Flu anyway?
1. The virus has never mutated,
2. It's no worse than the regular flu and
3. It's only dangerous to little kids, the elderly, and pregnant women
