Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Agreed....I just hope no one thinks his or her salvation depends on it. Otherwise, those of us who waited several months, or even years, after being saved would be doomed.inHisgrip said:As others have said, baptism doesn't save you.

We're saved by God's grace extended to us through Christ's atoning, vicarious death on the cross. Period.
Don't let anybody make you feel like you are somehow incomplete. If you're saved, then you are complete in Christ.
Now, all of that having been said, baptism is an outward testimony of the inward salvation that we've already recieved and is something that every Christian should do.
There are only two ordinances of the church, baptism and the Lord's Supper and they are important to us, among other reasons, because they is how we identify our choice to follow Christ and His work in us.
