I dont know, or care.Ya ... we've discussed your tag line before, haven't we?
"A nihilist who cares."
I cant help your arguments dont make sense.Wow -- solid aurum.
I don't.How do you demonstrate that the object of your faith is real?
I played on the monkey bars as a kid, and my dad used a monkey wrench.Umm,.. okay,.. well,.. I do like bananas. -__-
And you are an ape.I played on the monkey bars as a kid, and my dad used a monkey wrench.
That is not really a satisfying answer. Why would I think a creator god is real? Wouldn't I already have to be convinced of that before praying to said god. How would the spirit convince me if I didn't first believe?I don't.
That's not my job.
That's the Holy Spirit's job.
You dont get to make up your own definitions.Nope.
No Mangani in my family tree.
I'd say there is (arguably) a fourth category - those (like me) who grew up in a religious environment, went to religious schools (Catholic primary, Benedictine Abbey secondary) but for whom religious belief never 'took'. Following all the rituals (praying at meals, praying before bed, etc.), they believed in God as they believed Santa Claus - until it became obviously absurd.
Jesus said that, if He was lifted up, He would "draw all men unto himself."That is not really a satisfying answer. Why would I think a creator god is real? Wouldn't I already have to be convinced of that before praying to said god. How would the spirit convince me if I didn't first believe?
Yes, faith requires an object,
I made that up, did I?You dont get to make up your own definitions.
By definition, which goes by today's standards, yes.VirOptimus said:By definition, you are an animal, an ape.
I see. You have a war on words.I made that up, did I?
LOL ... I'm not Wikipedia.By definition, which goes by today's standards, yes.
I'm sure that ... by definition ... I was a "fetus" also.
The dictionary can take a hike.
That's only evidence for belief in Jesus Christ. Some years ago, I came up with this list of evidence for Jesus Christ:
1. Time divided into BC and AD.
2. Organizations such as the Red Cross and Salvation Army.
3. Hospitals built by Christian organizations.
4. Beautiful Christian artwork, edifices, statuary and literature.
5. IN GOD WE TRUST on our coins and UNDER GOD in our pledge of allegiance.
6. The Ten Commandments and other literature displayed in public.
7. Christmas & Easter
8. Symbols on bumper stickers and flags.
9. Public debates in the name of Christianity.
10. Crosses and billboards erected to testify of Jesus Christ.
James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Are you saying Catholicism is polytheistic?Preferably a Rosary, or St. Christopher medal, or a nice statue of the Virgin Mary. At least that's what my people had...
What does that mean? "If" he was lifted up? Who is doing the lifting?Jesus said that, if He was lifted up, He would "draw all men unto himself."
That includes you.
Let's face it.That's only evidence for belief in Jesus Christ.
Are you saying Catholicism is polytheistic?
