k here's my question for you:

is Dashboard Confessional considered a Christian band or a secular band? i've heard people label it both ways, so which is it?? the only song ive heard by them is Vindicated, and yeah, that one could go either way really...

Sorry to hijack your thread, Jordan...Aria, Chris Carrabba was the original lead singer for Further Seems Forever (who are sort of a Christian band), but from what I know of them I'd class DC as a secular band.

Have you heared anything by Joss Stone? Heared something about her being the modern day Janis Joplin..... just wondering if she is worth picking up???

Joss Stone is pretty bad IMO...she certainly doesn't remind me of Janis Joplin.

I beg to agree to disagree, Blackwasp...she might not be the new Janis Joplin, but she has a real hot soulful voice! And Joss is short for Jocelyn too, I read in the latest Rolling Stone over here!!
