CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Jordan...Aria, Chris Carrabba was the original lead singer for Further Seems Forever (who are sort of a Christian band), but from what I know of them I'd class DC as a secular band.Aria_Joy87 said:

On a serious note, I do have a question for you.
Have you heared anything by Joss Stone? Heared something about her being the modern day Janis Joplin..... just wondering if she is worth picking up???

Joss Stone is pretty bad IMO...she certainly doesn't remind me of Janis Joplin.

Thats ok Kristian. Sometime this week I would like to get you off some music from my collection (Some canadian stuff) as well, I am gonna send you a copy of some Guster. Probally their live in Portland Maine cd... its so amazing. Then you can see why they are Josh's fav band, and a close second for me
