They are preparing for the fire season, it was bad last year hate to see what it is going to be like this year if we do not get rain soon.

At the rate we are going in Phoenix going to be a early summer and dry!!!YUK!

There is nothing YUK about the dry heat YUK is when its humid and sticky and you get sweaty instantly

RAIN TOMORROW!

We are upwards of 140 days without rain. They are calling for Cats and Dogs. I might just do some puddle splashing.

In April, we moved from New England to Phoenix. Blizzards and cold winters did not agree with me, being a Florida native and last Summer, I soaked up every drop of Arizona sunshine. I might be part crocodile and I don't mind the dry heat at all.

Dry heat is definitely better than humid heat. Since living in the Yukon, I've found the same to be true for cold. Dry cold is much easier to manage than humid cold.

It's the sunshine I miss though. But the equinox cometh!

It shouldn't be too bad, because we had such a dry winter there won't be a lot of rapid growth in spring, so with out the undergrowth [weeds, flowers, etc] there won't be much to burn. Not near as bad as when we get lots of winter rain.

Lucky you, the weatherman missed it again. they called for a 60% chance of rain, but of course in Tucson that only means there is a 60% chance it may rain on 60% of Tucson at any one time. LOL
