I hail from Yuma. Lived there for 21 years. Now I'm desperate to get back. Desert natives in Yukon winters do not happy people make. I'd love to move to Prescott, perhaps. But it's so hard moving out of Canada.

I chaperoned a school trip to Prescott. It was so beautiful on that drive, there were times I wanted to pull over and cry. It was that moving. I am a New Englander myself, so the summer here in Yuma is very hard for me to take. Hot doesn't even begin to describe what it gets down here.

I have heard many things about the Botanical Gardens in Tucson. Are they worth the drive?

Where are you coming from? It is a beautiful garden. Depends on how far you are coming. They do have a really cook Butterfly garden at the Botanical Gardens, but it's only open certain times of the year. If your interested I can look it up for you.

Was watching the news last night and saw that y'all broke your consecutive days without rain record today. 102 days, no measurable rain. We just moved to AZ in June, so we aren't sure what is normal for us here in Yuma, but that stinks for you guys up in Phoenix.

They have been telling us for a week we would have rain but so far none!!! Cloudy but no rain.Temp has been great though.

It doesn't rain very often in Yuma. It's such an event that you feel like you need to commemorate the days that it does rain.

The event occured at 151 W Maley Street, Willcox AZ on Thursday, February 2nd at 7:30AM.
Missing 16 yo female went missing on way to school.

Joyce Apostolou is described as being a 16 year old white female, brown w/blond highlights hair, brown eyes, 5'06". 150lbs Shoulder length pierced ears Wearing: dl blu sweartshirt long sleeved, blk beanie, tan pants, wht sneakers, carrying yel & blk backpack with some type of writing on it.

Listening to the news this morning have not heard of any outcome yet of the amber alert. Heard they found the one alert before this one. Isn't this one who they think may be with her boyfriend who is I think from Tenn?

Joyce has been found and she's okay. She walked into a Circle-K and was recognised.
