I do not believe so as everything has been clearly outlined through the scriptures in this OP. We are not commanded to obey the Law of the world if it leads to breaking the Law of God. That is why Daniels friends were thrown into the fiery furnace because God's law forbid them from bowing down to idols.

I agree with what you are saying, but from your earlier post I do not believe "not working on Sunday" is bowing to Rome unless there is knowledge and intention involved. In the beginning Ellen White kept Sunday, but she believed she was doing what was required, certainly not bowing to an alternate god, and she corrected when knowledge came. I hope you are wrong, for most of my life I have not worked on Sunday, except on special occasions like harvest and football; nothing to do with worship.

I think a really good point you bring out here is one found in the scriptures in Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31; Hebrews 10:26-31 and James 4:17. Do you know what they are teaching?

I know what those verses teach, but I don't see what they have to do with what we are talking about; how ever those scriptures and people preceded the great deception; by the time John writes Revelation all are deceived; but the deception grows on and is still growing. It is interesting that in the messages to the seven churches, two churches receive no condemnation; four churches are told what to overcome in order to be saved; the seventh church is a mixed bag where some are given little chance. The point of interest here is that the two churches whose salvation is guaranteed are still asked to overcome without specifying what needs overcoming.

This forced worship brings in the "mark of the beast". The mark is received in the forehead or the hand. We receive this mark from the beast in the forehead by believing that Sunday worship is "the Lords day" over God's 4th commandment Sabbath commandment. We receive this mark in the hand not by believing but by doing what the beast commands under forced legislation (Government control). The issue is over sin (breaking God's commandments) if you are not practicing sin and keeping Gods 4th commandment then it will not be a problem to you. If your are keeping Sunday and disregarding Gods 4th commandment then you will receive the Mark of the beast according to the scripture. No one however receives the mark of the beast until it becomes compulsory and forced under law and legislation.

True in fulfillment of the words of JESUS in Matthew 24:24 and other scriptures of the new testament. That does not mean that there are not a people that do not know the truth of God's Word. True, some keep Sunday out of ignorance and in times of ignorance God winks at according to the scriptures. That is why the scriptures teach God's people are in every Church and he is calling them out and back to the pure Word of God. The Lord's day in Revelation 1:10 is not the day of the Lord however just as it is not Sunday.
