You are taking a word that means judges and a word that is translated as divine judge and saying they are the same. Bicycles are vehicles with two wheels but not all two wheeled vehicles are bicycles. This is why you don't pluck verses and apply them wherever you feel the need to apply them.
Why is it that Lamech stands out? Some people are leaders like the scribes and Pharasees...they too are said to be judges and teachers of the law. Also, did they not judge Jesus by the same Law that He tells them "ye are gods" is part of?
So there are rulers of Israel. As to your comment a bike is a Vehicle.

Anyway I believe I made my points as to the essence of this discussion. Going to get ready for church. Peace

Have a great service. When you get back the question will remain. Is Neil Gorsuch an Elohim?

This will be the third or fourth time in which I have had to quote this verse to you. That is not even counting how many times others have quoted it for you. Memorize it, write it down, so we don't have to keep repeating it.

Jude 6-7, speaking out of the content of Enoch 1.
Why would I do that....When it doesn't say that.

I will repeat what I have already said on this a third time.
  • I have already told you what EL, the root of Elohim means. It means god
  • There are no examples of Elohim referring to living human people. All examples Israel, Phoenicia, Ugaric, Cannan are of gods
  • No Israelite ruler, judge, leader, priest, anyone referred to themselves, or even thought of themselves as an Elohim
  • It would be blasphemy for any Israelite to call himself a god.
  • The only use of Elohim as Judges comes from the KJV alone and is derived from the Phrase "judgement of God". Not earthly judges.
  • At no point in Israels history have they not died like men. Save Elijah. Every person in the Book of Judges died like men and women. No Israelite at any time expected to die in another way than as a man dies.

Lol why don't you answer it...sound like one of those trap questions like they asked Jesus...

It's a simple yes or no question. Is Neil Gorsuch an Elohim? The only thing that would make it difficult is if your interpretation is flawed. I have no trouble answering this question, but you have averted it twice already.

I have been in your shoes before and had the same conversation you are having with me. I fought it just like you did, but I discovered I had to do more harm than good to the word of God. So I put my trust in God and let His word say what it was meant to say.

Jesus calls men gods
I'll respond to this later...
And when you do I expect to see a representation that doesn't leave Jesus downplaying himself. Just as I mentioned below.

On Psalm 82 and it's contrast to John 10:36.
If you place Jesus's usage of "ye are all Gods" to mean humans you cause Jesus to down play his own title. It's as if to say, "yeah I call myself a God and so are you...see I'm just like you no problem here, nothing special about me." But lets look at who Jesus calls "gods" in reference to Psalm 82...
"If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?"
He doesn't say everyone is a God here, but those whom the word of God came. And they arrest him for it. Why? If scripture makes everyone out to be a God so plainly then why would they try and arrest him for claiming the same right? He then follows to say look, if you don't believe me when I say I'm the son of God, believe my works. Why would he doubt their capacity to believe he is the son of God if every Joe out there is also a god?

The phrase "unto whom the word of God came" is to say the message of Psalm 82. Psalm 82 is the word of God spoken to the congregation of the Elohim condemning them to die like men. So Jesus is essentially saying "Look, if God calls even these condemned ones Elohim, then why do you call it blasphemy that I, whom the father sanctified and sent into the world, am the son of God?" That is the message of John 10:36. "unto whom the word of God came" is describing the subject which is "them". Them is described in Psalm 82 as the Congregation of the Elohim.

So we either have Jesus meaning...
"Look, if God calls even these condemned ones Elohim, then why do you call it blasphemy that I, whom the father sanctified and sent into the world, am the son of God?"
or
"yeah I call myself a God and so are you...see I'm just like you, no problem here, nothing special about me."

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Do I need to define what "in like manner" means?

I know it is hard to wrap your head around the concept of angels mating with women.

However, why did God fell it necessary to enchain these things that took the "daughters of men" as wives and had children with them.... in the depths of hell until the final judgement?

Do not all humans, who are evil... Nero, Pharaoh, Goliath, Herod,Abimelchk and all those who do not deserve salvation, exist in a place of torment until the white throne judgement?

Why the chains?

No, these are not mere men. Not even great men. Men of human strengths and capabilities are nothing when they cross into the dimension of the next world.

They need no chains and there is no need for some "deepest part of sheol" for them.

And all who are not saved will face the great white throne judgement at the end of these ages....

So, nope......not men. There is no reason for the writers of the bible to indicate that they were put in chains until the judgement.

Exodus 7:1 says I have made you a god to Whom? Answer: Pharaoh. God doesn't say "I have made you an Elohim". It says I have made you an Elohim to Pharaoh. If you doubt that look at the verse right before it. "And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
John 10:35 has a context when it says "to whom the word of God came". What is that context? Answer: Psalm 82.

The word of God has come to everyone, atheist and theist alike. [Romans 1]If you read your Bible to your cat it's come to your cat as well. That doesn't make your cat or an atheist an Elohim. That is an untenable generalization. What you are doing is bending the word of God to your own will to avoid a theology. Accepting anything to your purpose so long as it contains the words you want. That is a detrimental thing to do for ones self and the body of Christ.

No, Moses is not an Elohim. Unlike the question I have asked you 3x now I have no problem answering that.

Now, for the third time. Yes or No. Is Neil Gorsuch an Elohim?

When you add they "procreate" and never sight evidence, this to me is how fables get passed down through assumptions.
Give me one scripture from the Bible that state angels procreated.

take a close look at the Jude passage Sanoy posted. "the men of Sodom went after strange flesh". look up the meaning of the greek word for strange flesh. it means of unknown origin. this would not be something dealing with getting with other men, animals, family members as that would be covered under fornication which is already mentioned, the strange flesh reference is in addition to the fornication.
also remember Sodom is a Canaanite city, the land of Canaan was full of nephilim, the ancesters of the men of Sodom. Joshua and Kaleb were commanded to exterminate all of these things but we are told they did not get all of them.

In reference to Jude 6-7
You said you have a spouse. I assume you know how children are made correct? Or is this a deliberate refusal to understand the implication of fornication to which Gen 6 fully explains beyond doubt.?
