I definitely love the 80's music and the 80's in general. Movies too. My all time favorite is the movie The Breakfast Club and the song Don't you forget about me. I'm a 90's kid myself, but I discovered the 80's stuff and there was no turning back:)

Ah, the Breakfast Club...awesome movie...I had to go to a few of those Saturday meetings myself so I could relate big time :)

I know, that movie is timeless. It's one of the best. I didn't have detention on Saturdays, but I had it after school. I had to stay late into the evenings a few times. But that movie is just awesome there is no other way to describe it. The script and the acting are amazing. I'm glad you liked it too:)

You may need to listen to some Pink Floyd to purify your ears after that! You need to do something to erase the Bucks Fizz song or it will stay in your head for days..

I remember Bill and Ted...has been a bit since watching those...that was the first time I remember seeing Keanu Reeves...

I first saw him in some later movie, and then later in Bill and Ted on TV. I liked both of those and there was some decent music in them. I particularly remember the song God gave rock 'n' roll to you at the end of Bogus Journey. But Bogus Journey was actually 1991 so not an 80's movie.

If I remember correctly, Petra had the song "God Gave Rock and Roll to You", then KISS put it out...

Really? I didn't know that. There was a bunch of really good movies in the 80's. For example Back to The Future, the list goes on and on:)

"God Gave Rock and Roll To You" was originally recorded by the band Argent ("Hold Your Head Up") in the '70s. But Petra did cover it before Kiss ruined it. :) At least I think I have the chronology right.
