You quoted a truism now. You generalized the problem of aggressivity so much that it makes no sense more as it applies to all an nothing. I only ask that you don' t use foul language and ad hominem attacks not that you behave in every aspect as I want.
Such behaviour is normally a sign of an iminent attack and that causes stress.

Again, with billions of people in this world, some are going to rub you the wrong way. How you choose to respond to them or ignore them, is what you can control

You do not need to answer but if you do not have the SAME mental illness than me your experience might not be transferable. It is the problem with this world that everyone things what works for healthy persons should as well work for the unhealthy. I am working in mental health advocacy and I do nothing else than fight this believe.

Can't you? I am still waiting for an atheist from this forum to send the moderators there a message that he does want that kind of behaviour to become philosophically attached to atheism. Depending on how much messages he gets he might change the behaviour. But in the moment the majority of atheists seems to be more interested in me than in battling the forum.

Might not, but I would never exclude anyone from empowerment. That would be cruel.

If the mental un-health is due to faulty reasoning, to believing stressful thoughts, then that indeed can be remedied by learning how our thoughts affect our mental health. If the un-health is due to biochemical imbalances, then there are medications that can assist with the cognitive aspect of empowerment.

Different forums, tend to attract certain types of people who have certain agendas and ideological positions. If you feel you can control the motivations of others, please give us some ways in which you would do so.

I think you are being a bit dramatic with that conclusion. If there is a medication that can improve one's life and has some side effects which are overwhelmed by the positive attributes of the medication, why should a person not use the medication?

Speaking of engineering society, I'm not about to make society stop eating peanuts because my child is deathly allergic to them.

It really depends how one chooses to apply the word faith and how each person interprets the meaning of the word.

For instance, I don't have faith the light will go on when I flip the switch, because I have a track record and objective evidence the light will go on. No faith is required for me, because I view faith, as really wanting something to be so, but you don't have much of any verifiable evidence it is so.

I am my own person and don't pretend to be able to speak for anyone else, whether they are atheist or not. I also understand personal psychology which drives each person's motivation to act in a certain way, is not something I have much control over. I am fascinated by it though, which is one of the main reason this site is intriguing to me. I don't care so much what people believe or don't believe, I am much more interested in how they are motivated to believe what they do and how they support their belief personally.

Your society takes attention of your child by making labelling obligatory. The question is would it realy harm the people to refrain form verbal agression or not? Is the harm they are doing in any line with the pleasure they derive from it?

Good that you mentioned the word victim. I am a victim I have been treated with the wrong meds for the wrong illness nearly dying from it because someone wanted to calm me because I was telling the truth about a crime he commited.

You understand that I will always fight for the mentally ill and against society.

Agree, we each interpret meaning a bit differently and use them differently. In discussions, always good to make that clear to others, so there can be some level of understanding.
