I would like clarification, please, on what you meant by "creationists".
I would like clarification, please, on what you meant by "creationists".
I am neither --- I'm an eclectic blend of the two.By using the word "creationist", I specifically meant those who believe in the special creation via Genesis 1, regardless of OEC or YEC affliation.
Are you kidding me? I'm not touching that with a ten-foot touchdown pass.Do you care to answer my questions from post #219?
Yes, I know.He already told you in post 216:
Are you kidding me? I'm not touching that with a ten-foot touchdown pass.
I am neither --- I'm an eclectic blend of the two.
And you don't understand it enough to criticize those who do believe it.
And since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and assume you weren't talking about us.
Are you kidding me? I'm not touching that with a ten-foot touchdown pass.
Like he even understands what "special creation" is.
Yes, I know.

Really? You are talking to a guy who grew up reading the Bible almost every day from the age of 10. You are talking to a guy who spent almost every waking moment in church. You are talking to a guy who helped with AWANA's, helped with VBS, and even helped with the youth group. I was raised Presbyterian then my parents started going to Southern Baptist while I was in 7th grade. I didn't become an agnostic untill around 4 years ago and I have only been an atheist for two years. I know my way around the Bible, and it is my biggest and best weapon against God.
And Evolution is the change in alleles in a population over time."Embedded age" is the premise that the earth was created 6100 years ago 4.5 billion years old. Thought the earth is physically 4.5 billion years old, there is no history older than 6100 years. This claim is based on the fact that scientific research has established the age of the earth and is attempting to correlate scripture with science.
Is there anything I forgot about it? Or are you still going to claim I don't understand it?
Sounds to me like you let yourself become a victim of a well-known parable --- the Parable of the Sower.Really? How much brains does it take to learn Genesis 1?Forget it, BananaSlug -- nothing can ever convince AV that there are people who know the Bible better than he does.
And Evolution is the change in alleles in a population over time.
Is there anything I forgot about it? Or will you take my word for it that I don't understand it?
Anyone can parrot an explanation; not everyone can understand it, though.
How much brains does it take to learn Genesis 1?
How much faith does it take to agree with it?
So, you are now including TE's in with "Creationists?" Does this mean you no longer have a problem differentiating between TE's and atheists, like you claimed you did just recently?
Sounds to me like you let yourself become a victim of a well-known parable --- the Parable of the Sower.
How much brains does it take to learn Genesis 1?
How much faith does it take to agree with it?
how much ego does it take to believe that anything that disagrees with you is wrong?
