Lik im not going to dress up as anything evil, im not stupid. Im going as a clown, the REAL clowns. The ones that make people laugh and just do slapstick comedy. No Pennywise, no evil nonsense, just a normal average clown. Is it still wrong?
Of course not. And I hope you have noticed that no one who imagines that Halloween is evil or Satanic or pagan can directly address your own plans for the day and show how they are immoral, etc.

It's always some farfetched claim about what other people, imaginary ones for the most part, are supposedly intent upon doing.

I personally don't believe any who name the name of Christ should be partakers of Halloween, unless it's nothing more than handing out Gospel tracts.
I also believe the idolatry of any major league sport is just that,idolatry...any old day you worship it.:eyes:

Are you participating in the festival by dressing up,going out,and getting candy like those who are not saved?

NO/YES.

Halloween is wickedness. Satanists have a hayday during this, lots of ritualistic stuff happening all over. Sure you can have friends and family over for dinner and eat pumpkin-pie or whatever but stay away from the other dark stuff, that includes letting your kids run around asking for candy, there are better things for them to do.

Football on sunday is fine, not if you have to choose between that and church/fellowshipping but as long as you focus primarily on Christ you´re fine. Let nothing come between you and Christ, destroy every idol.

Btw,I am NOT chastising you.But it IS an important question to ask yourself and think about. And of course we should want to please God,don't ever let anyone make you feel bad for that.

1. If they want. If they don’t want to for any reason, they don’t have to.

Should christians celebrate halloween?
Think about Christmas, for a second. There are Christians who see it as a holy day, and unbelievers who do surface-level celebrations and do not commemorate the Incarnation of Christ. For Christians, Christmas has another level of fullness.

For Halloween, invert it. There's the surface-level costumes and candy which are not inherently wrong, or necessarily partaking in idolatry or witchcraft. But there are those who are into witchcraft for whom Halloween is much more significant, and they do more things on Halloween because of that.

I like to keep it low-key myself. No reason to make any big deal of it. Eat a little candy, and I'm good.

Can christians watch football on sunday?
If they want to, yes. Come home from church or lunch, turn on the TV, and enjoy.

My thoughts are no/yes.

If Christian are to be ones that are wise, how wise is it to be numb to the spiritual references that goes on during Halloween? Even at commercial level, can one truly celebrate as one that doesn't value/acknowledge the magnitude of a spirit?

Football on a Sunday is fine. As long as it's not placing higher priority over more important things.

Yeah well, if that's the case, I want to do what God says. That's my choice

God gave us free will. If He did not, nobody would sin. So you are free to do whatever you want to do if it is mentally and physically possible, which includes celebrating Halloween and watching games on Sunday.

Consider this: Honoring the Sabbath means doing no work. When you watch football games, you sait in a chair or on the couch for about 3 hours. That is not working. So if watching football on Sunday is a sin, so is watching football on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Should christians celebrate halloween?
They Can celebrate if they desire to and find no fault in it....and they should not is they do find fault in it.

Can christians watch football on sunday?
Yes it is very possible for a person of any religion to look at a TV that is on a Football channel.

If the question here is also, whether or not they should....The answer is the same as above.

If, by "celebrate," you mean a child dressing up as a Disney character and collecting candy from neighbors, I don't see why a child shouldn't "celebrate" Hallowe'en this way. Beware the Genetic Fallacy. Having said this, emphasizing death, and the monstrous, and the demonic in celebration of Hallowe'en is, for obvious reasons, not something a Christian ought to do.

Can christians watch football on sunday?

As one who finds watching sports rather tedious, I would urge fellow believers to spend their time in other, better, more stimulating pursuits. But that's just me. I can't think of any biblical grounds upon which to assert that watching sports on Sunday is verboten.
