OK, we'll leave that and move on.1. Yes, that is what I mean by "how they work".
So you believe that the Earth is a circle (Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:10) with 4 corners (Isaiah 11:12, Revelation 7:1))? How does that work?2. Literally what the Bible describes the Earth to be.
You could try looking at one with a telescope or binoculars. But I suspect even that wouldn't convince you, would it?3. I don't know if those lights in the sky we can see are satellites.

Hang on. You're now saying it might not be literal? How do you determine what is literal and what is not literal? You're cherry picking, aren't you (and I'm sure you have a way to determine whether I'm speaking literally or not)?I believe exactly what is written.
The Earth was inscribed into the deep (likely ice but could have been unfrozen water). As for the four corners, they can be taken literally (square of ice) or they can be taken as directions. I'm still studying it here and there.
And never will....It hasn't yet done so.

There's no way to investigate these claims as they are in the past and left no evidence of any sort (claims in a book are not evidence). So all you have is faith. As I said, I don't know. It's hard for me. However, I have faith and know that God will guide me in understanding if He wills it to be so.
The way I see this is rather simple. I can take on faith that Jesus Christ is Lord. I take on faith all of the wonders He performed. I take on faith that He died for our sins, and that He rose from the dead. There is no scientific evidence for the wonders done by Christ or for people being raised up from the dead. Just as there exists no scientific evidence for a man parting an ocean with a rod; I take all this on faith.
These claims can be investigated, and there are mountains of evidence against them with little evidence in support. So it takes a whole lot more faith to believe them when the available evidence contradicts them. Cue the denialism and conspiracy theories required to sustain that faith. Kudos to you for such strong faith. How much more faith does it take to accept that creation is exactly as is written? That the Sun goes round the Earth? That the Moon is a light? That the sky is solid? I used to think it would take more faith than I could ever muster, and yet I was wrong.

Recognize that it's hypocritical to make such accusations of the other side when your side engages in the same kind of name calling.
The thing is, I don't have authority over what others who share a belief or even certainty in enclosed cosmology do. Why would I be judged by what they do when I am not doing the this?
Example:
Should all Christians be judged by the actions of some who claim to be Christians, yet are violent? Impatient? Rude? Cruel? Should an unbeliever judge us by such? Can we help what others do if we don't know them? Even if we do? Don't they like us have choices to make?
Well you're the one judging people on the round earth side of the argument.
Judging, yes. I am rather sure that's unavoidable. I think we judge the moment we hear or see, even feel something. Having an opinion on someone or what they believe, having assumptions, that's all judging; perhaps it's not Biblical judging though.
However, I have not belittled anyone here for their conviction in Heliocentricism, have I? Have i called any "crazy"? "Satanic"? "Brainwashed"? No. I've certainly expressed my opinion about indoctrination, through a quote by my friend but I've not once attacked anyone here over any belief. Have I?
My point was that others have, and you were claiming your side was being persecuted.
And there's the denialism I spoke of.Mountains of evidence? No, there aren't mountains of evidence for a spinning globe and 93 million mile away Sun. Is there some? Perhaps. I've not yet found it though. Will I? Perhaps.
You had to scroll all the way back through my posts to point that out, eh? Please, show me the literal mountains of evidence for a super-sonic sphere Earth, orbiting a Sun, 93 million miles distant from it.And there's the denialism I spoke of.
What an odd thing to ask. It's only 9 posts back, so not a whole lot of scrolling required. I simply replied to your reply to me. If you're wondering about the time it took to respond, well some of us have just experienced night so I went to sleep. You had to scroll all the way back through my posts to point that out, eh?
You want me to provide all of that in a single forum post? Please, show me the literal mountains of evidence for a super-sonic sphere Earth, orbiting a Sun, 93 million miles distant from it.
In US Land surveys, townships are about 36 square miles. Each square mile is called a section. If you look at section boundary plats, you will find that the southern boundary is wider than the northern boundary. This is because corrections have to be made for the convergence of the meridians.
If the earth were flat, why aren't these sections perfectly square?

There's not much point even pointing you to Google or science journals since you'll just deny it.
Lol. If I give you something, you'll deny it. If I don't you'll claim it doesn't exist. So which stance would you prefer?I desire your literal mountains of evidence for sphericity, orbit, and rotation, yes.
