It doesn't look like we could roleplay this realistically. I wouldn't want to try to mix the amoeba theme with more useable ideas. If you can turn this into a story it might be OK, but as it stands, I don't see this getting anywhere.

Mr. Brilliand surely has an imagination (who ELSE would think of all that stuff for Hollowstar!?). It's just far more realistic than yours or mine. Mr. Brilliand actually uses realism in his imagination, and science, and even MATH! Who else does that!? But that's what makes his stories what they are, and things like Iban and the Hollowstar system take that kind of unique mind to be built. I NEVER, repeat, NEVER, could've done that.

So DON'T diss the most profound and logical mind this forum has ever seen!

OK, OK, I'll join with an itty-bitty supergenius warrior. Five arms should be plenty, maybe a leg for the heck of it... shoulding go beyond one sword, but... make that three arms, they might get in the way. And the leg should be a water pumb, he needs to be able to move. Much smaller than an amoeba, of course. I'll have to think about what his brain is made out of and where he came from, but he can eat... I have it, he sucks the protoplasm out of amoebas to survive. He doesn't need much, so the amoebas hire him pretty often, and he makes a living.

Limbs: 3 humanoid arms, 1 cyclic pump that makes up half his mass
Weapons: A small graphite blade, 6 mkm in length with a curved, serrated edge

He's not all that smart for a human, but he is smarter than any amoeba.

Roughly, the plot is:

Ike stumbled upon a plot to kill the Elders, kill the Muskrat, rot the Tree from the inside-out, and completely swarm the entire Lake with plankton, outnumbering and utterly decimating the amoebas. As he went to warn the Elders of the plot (as he had been instructed to do by Greensville's governor), the plan was already set in motion and thus, the battle going on in Greensville. All other amoeba settlements are being attacked at the same time also.

However, since plankton can't leave water, they're going to have to get creative to get to the Elders, who live underneath the Tree in damp mud and moss.

But trust me, it's going to get much bigger than the Lake.

After they clean up the city, the Elders will be calling a city-wide meeting to discuss plans to put all the amoebas into hiding. After that, they'll be calling together the best warriors in the Lake to a secret location to discuss their next strategical move. And from there on... is a secret.

Sorry I'm late. Where should Apendotripodaquarn "eee" Randomthought come in? I've decided that he was haphazardly generated by the subjective reality generated by a particularly crazy Hollowstar artifact that happened to drop fro mthe sky... OK, that's another story. Anyhow, I'm thinking he should either speak with a leader on a fairly regular visit and agree to join the army, or come into existence in the opening post and meet some minor amoebas right off. Perhaps one of you could even be there for the meeting. Unfortunately, due to quirks in his background, a human must be present at his creation. That's where the haphazard thoughts come from. The human doesn't have to know anything... it just has to be there.

And his last name... perhaps "randomthought" isn't the best word. What do you think of "manschild" or "raindrop"? (Raindrop from the possibility that he falls from the sky in front of some amoebas, whether in or before this roleplay)
