Amoebozoa is the story of heroic bands of amoebas that fight the malicious Plankton Empire to help keep Lake Antonio healthy. The Lake is approximately 100 feet by 150 feet.

The bands of amoebas that battle against the algae onslaught are called Amoeba Clots.
Amoebas are good and kind creatures by nature that dwell in a variety of areas, including freshwater, decaying vegetation, salt water, wet soil, and in animals (including humans). Because most kinds of amoebas need these or similar environments to survive, methods of transport have been invented to get ACs to different locations, such as frog-trucks, turtle-freights, and fish-cannons.
Most lake-dwelling amoebas live in one of the three safe-havens of Lake Antonio: Greensville, the Loglands, and the Antonio Dam; but some are renegades and choose to survive elsewhere. There are many amoeba organizations dedicated to fighting the Plankton Empire, but by far the largest and most powerful is the Amoebaean Soldiers United (ASU).
Types of Amoebas:
Proteus (playable)
This large protozoan uses tentacle-like protuberances called pseudopodia to move and devour prey. They contain one nucleus. They are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.

Chaos (non-playable)
Chaos is a type of giant amoeba. Chaoses contain several hundred nuclei and compared to amoebas are very large. They are the secret weapons of the amoeba forces, but aren’t very bright. They are about the size of the tip of a human thumb.

Types of Enemies:
Plankton
These creatures vary in size and are the largest threat to amoeba society. Plankton are very intelligent and usually travel in large armies, engulfing anything weaker that they may come across. They have somehow tamed much of the other life in Lake Antonio, even those that are their natural predators. The leader of the plankton has never been seen, but it is rumored that he lives somewhere behind the Empirial Colony. There are many different types, but by far the most common are the phytoplankton, which are in control of the Plankton Empire. They are invisible to the human eye and about a sixth of the size of a Proteus.

Algae
A single alga alone is no threat, which is the reason algae live in large collective groups, called colonies. Algae colonies are almost impossible to destroy and can regroup and regenerate surprisingly fast. Some algae grow on plants, rocks, and soil, but by far the most dangerous are the kinds that grow on the surface of the water. These are grouped by the billions and when they catch hold of prey they will quickly devour it. Algae are very small but range drastically in size in groups.
Backswimmers
These quick insects have two legs that they use for swimming, and are dangerous to even the large clots. Backswimmers maneuver quickly and precisely, and they are extremely intelligent. These pests have large jaws ready to devour anything that gets in their way. Backswimmers can also fly, so they are useful to get enemies to and from battlefields quickly. About the size of a bumblebee.
Toe-biters
Horrid insects that are the size of two half-dollars, toe-biters are mostly for carrying the enemy to different places. Toe-biters won’t normally attack a single or even a few amoebas, but they will attack large groups. Three times larger than a backswimmer.
Catfish
These massive beasts hide underneath the mud of the bottom of the Lake, and will strike without warning on large groups of amoebas. Their long whiskers will instantly (but temporarily) paralyze any amoeba they touch. Varying in size.
Bass
There are two variations of bass, large-mouth and small-mouth, in Lake Antonio. These are the most powerful, dangerous, and by far the fastest of the enemies amoebas face. Bass are basically impervious to attack from the outside, and so cannot be very easily defeated. Escape is not likely with larger bass, which are extremely violent towards prey. Varying in size.
Blue-gill
Traveling in groups, a school of blue-gill is a force to be reckoned with. These fish are colorful and seem docile, but when food is spotted they quickly frenzy. Usually found underneath The Tree, blue-gill are also helpful in that they eat algae, backswimmers, and toe-biters. Varying in size.
Neutral or Allied creatures:
Frogs
The largest amphibians in Lake Antonio, frogs are used by amoebas as quick transport units. Frogs are naturally docile and pose little threat to anything. Most frogs are unintelligent but can be trained to respond to amoebas’ voice commands.
Turtles
These reptiles are used as freighters, moving material and units across shorter distances than frogs. Turtles are also used as defensive units, as most are intelligent creatures and will attack backswimmers and toe-biters. Turtles are docile and friendly, but are not very useful outside of water.
Dragonflies
These insects are used as quick getaway and drop-off units.
The Muskrat
This furry mammal is not a direct threat, as he cannot see amoebas or plankton, but this also means he will accidentally carry away or crush unsuspecting creatures. It is rumored in amoeba lore that the Muskrat was present at the creation of Lake Antonio and is its protector. About the size of a common house cat.
The Tree
The Tree is the most sacred site in all of Lake Antonio, and is home to the Amoeba Elders. These seven elite govern the rest of the amoeba population and protect the Tree, which according to amoeba lore is the source of all life and was planted at the creation of the Lake. The Tree is approximately ten feet tall.
The Great Giant
This mysterious entity is mentioned only once in the amoeba lore books and it is stated that he is the one behind the creation of Lake Antonio, the placement of the Tree, and the one who set loose the mighty Muskrat. The Great Giant is said to have left his creation but is to one day return and deliver the amoebas from the peril of the plankton.
