I AM the WAY and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE

No man comes to the FATHER except through ME

How much more "truth" is needed

Whats in a word? Depends on who is looking at it.
I AM that I AM means exactly what is ssid

To who? God's kingdom is his, not ours.

Do you know the goal of your faith colter
Yes, "There is in the mind of God a plan which embraces every creature of all his vast domains, and this plan is an eternal purpose of boundless opportunity, unlimited progress, and endless life. And the infinite treasures of such a matchless career are yours for the striving!"

Prior to HIS saying I will give you the keys to THE KINGDOM HE was discussing who men say HE is

It was when Peter made a true confession of who CHRIST is that HE said to him I will give you the keys to THE KINGDOM

Please review Matthew 16 in context again
My apologies. Matthew 18 I was thinking of...

Matthew 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The goal of my faith, of Gods will, is for us to grow up and become like he is, so our growth never ends. Learning never stops.

The common self centered goal of Christianity is eternal laziness. There will be much, much more to do and experience after this short life.
No the goal of our faith is to see HIM as HE is

Those who HOPE is in HIM not only have this HOPE as an anchor for their soul, they purify themselves even as HE is pure

And are indeed receiving the goal of their faith

Even their salvation

It is Christ who is our HOPE

And it is our faith directed in and on HIM alone which will prove genuine...resulting in
HIS praise and glory

One day we will stand before HIM and the knowledge of the LORD will cover the earth as the waters of the seas

Who will be hungry and need to be fed?
Who will be naked and need to be clothed

Where will there be iniquity?

What work did you think we would be doing in a kingdom where the vesss are all marked holy to GOD?

What about the New Creation that Jesus was the firstborn among many brethren?

Galatians 4:6-7

2 Corinthians 6:17-18

Revelation 21:7

John 8:44

John 14:10

Matthew 10:18-20

1 Peter 1:23-25

Which is the point from God's view. Having always known he was the center, or in the midst of the garden, and that there was nothing outside of him, in spiritual sense of the words; his image.

You are preaching about something different than the issue of continued growth in the next life.
Colter, when you say 'next life', are talking about after one physically dies? Or are you speaking spiritual death as we die to 'self'?

If you are speaking about continuing to grow after physical death, please show where to find that in scripture. Thanks

He was vey clear in laying down the challenge, the goal and meaning of life: "be you perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect."

You must first know where to see him as he is, which is who you are in, and he in you ... the question that begins to emerge is where are you ... which should sound familiar:help:

Opinion, left right good bad ... free will is not a mute point. It is a law in our mind, something unbreakable so to speak, as much as the giving up of it leads to life, and the keeping of it unto death.
You were talking about hell sir

Do you think that you are perfect apart from HIM

You must know not to go out from the "city of" REFUGE which GOD has provided

Just as Rahab was warned

"Help" indeed

And in the end, whoever calls on
the name of THE LORD shall be saved

The scriptures don't say much about the next life.
So where have you come up with the thought that you will continue to grow in righteousness after you physically die? Test all things. If it is not backed in scripture, how can it be true?

And we are not, so we keep growing to become more like I AM.
By yourself?
Or is GOD at work conforming those whom HE foreknew to the image of HIS SON?

Please go back and review John 15 to see if you are in agreement

It is GOD's will that we be sanctified in the ONE who sanctified HIMSELF for us

But apart from HIM
Outside of HIM

NO
We can't be sanctified nor can we do anything

A branch apart from it's source and ROOT can't bear anything

And HE disciplines every child so that they will bear RIGHTEOUS fruit sir

Do you know what it means to be perfect and righteous and impartial and unbiased in all situations and circumstances before all men?

Are there those outside still who need access to THE DOOR?

When Paul wrote letters to the BODY, he addressed his letters to THE CHURCH only

He did not address those outside the BODY

though he never ceased from clearly pointing all men to THE ONE who is THE DOOR and THE FOUNDATION of THE BODY

"Be you perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect." Have you become perfect like the Father already?
