I believe abortion = murder.
However, I also believe people need to not be stupid and get pregnant without planning.
And if you are unmarried and sinning with premarital intercourse, please use birth control.
I hear SO many ppl (Catholic) say BC is a sin, yet they are having sex without marriage! Please! And then maybe having children out of wedlock with non-existant fathers. Grr. Kids outside marriage are a sin IMO, but it is trendy nowadays.
Last I heard the US has three million unwanted kids. That includes many unhealthy ones.
I get tired of hearing the "adoption" mantra - because people falsely believe every child will be wanted when born. I work in an inner city hospital where plent of NICU babies - born at 6-7 mn gestation - are dumped after birth by their IV shooting, crank snorting 14 year old mothers. And FAS babies are the worse to place. There is no long line for "special" babies..although a few families do have their arms opened big enough.
Even if a child lives...there can still be sin involved.
Although it is murder though, I doubt I could fault a rape victim who aborts if a pregnancy resulted.

It is simple. Both sides believe in choice. There are three choices possible -- live birth and keeping, live birth and adopting out, and murder. Pro-life people and their opposition BOTH believe in the first two choices. Only the opposition believes in the additional choice of murder. So they are pro-abortion. They may not "prefer" abortion, but they are definitly PRO-abortion. The other side is ANTI-abortion.
