Well, if you look at it this way.. and I am not saying that I do, so please no hate mail...

Let's say the 7 years starts in 2013. And lets say that there are 1,000,000 Jews dead in that period of time. Maybe they are thinking that if they can hurry it up a little, they can save half of the lives by making it sooner.

It's hard to explain what I mean, but do you know what I'm saying?

I mean, I pray for the Temple to be built, but I don't think giving money for the Temple is appropriate.. But if they do, it is only going along with God's plan.

I thought we we're supposed to preach the Gospel to every creature including the Jews. Well at least there will be 2 preaching in Jerusalem against it. They get killed, and rise up to Heaven..the rest of us can have a oh,well, its going to hurry things up attitude I guess. And if other Christians get deceived, thats their problem?

The people left behind will have to worry about that. If you are so passionate for converting Jews, why aren't you there teaching to them? You are praying for the temple to be rebuilt? Why? Jesus said to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, not the rebuilding of the temple. I noticed tonight that you posted in the Temple Institutes guestbook before I posted this topic. They removed my post, because I was honest and posted...here is the senerio.....temple rebuilt, sacrifices, antichrist, sacrifices stopped, TROUBLE. I know it has to happen, but I refuse to pray for the throne of the AC to be rebuilt, but pray for the peace of Jerusalem instead.

Here is the prophecy Jesus made that day:

The time had to be at hand because the temple buildings were knocked down. Some will tell you that one wall is still standing and therefore the prophecy isn't complete.

Jesus pointed out "great buildings" and said not one stone HERE will be left on another. Jesus and His friends had just walked out of THAT building...it was THAT building Jesus meant and history tells us that temple was over ran by sodiers.

So when Jesus was asked this:
Mark 13:4
"Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"

Jesus answered certain events as happening in answer to the question.

The Olivet Discourse deserves some study time, the key is read it from the bible and not ANY study guide. There are about a billion christians and it seems like a billion and two interpretations of what the Olivet says. This conversation holds the absolute key to understanding biblical end times.

We need to look deeper at verse 2. Understand that the Thessalonians are worked up by some teaching that the day of Christ is at hand. Some students of the Bible today are still teaching this. However Paul gives us comfort by revealing the time table of His return without supplying an actual date.
In verse 3 he strongly states that we are not to be decieved for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Not only are we to watch for a falling away (those so called "Christians" contributing to the rebuilding of the Temple) but also a literal man, that man of sin, the son of predition. Just as Judas was a working member of the 12, he will come on the world scene as a strong pillar of the Church. He will be recognized as a "Christian" but he will be that man of sin. He will go into predition and with the assistance of "well meaning Christians" stand in the rebuilt temple proclaiming himself as God.
This makes the Abomination of desolation two fold. The Spiritual form of the temple (the hearts of men) will have given that place to the son of predition (falling away first) and the physical rebuilt temple of the Jews where he will reveal himself to the world. Thus setting himself up above all that is called God.
After all this and only after this, shall Jesus The Messiah, The Christ will then come and take away all those who have not worshiped and made sacrifice to him the man of sin the son of predition.
Watch where you put your money, it is the modern day form of sacrifice.

Thank you so much for posting that. For the last few weeks I have been surrounded by well meaning Christians getting out their wallets and supporting this, and its driving me up the wall. The Christians are posting things on the Temple Institute Site "Its such a wonderful thing you are doing rebuilding the temple, and your going to start the sacrifices again.. Its apparent that these Christians dont have a clue what this is going to lead too. Is it just due to lack of knowledge of the scriptures about this or their enthusiasm for the return of the Messiah? Dont they have a clue that the man of sin is manifested first???

I can see why its called the abomination that maketh desolate..I can think of nothing that would anger God more than substituting His Only Son, and replacing it with the blood of animals.

Very good post Palatka44. I'm definately not going to support this. I look at it now as a sacrifice also. Jesus said to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, not to support or pray for the support of this new temple. I saw so many people on that Temple Institute site that are so gung-ho for this, that it just made my blood run cold!!!
I'm sure that in the days, weeks, and months ahead, there is going to be alot more said on this. If they are already excited about this on Benny Hinns program, and Joe Vankoevering, a noted prophecy teacher, then they are going to promote this to the hilt. God is opening up the eyes of the church, those who are listening, and heeding the warnings. BEWARE CHURCH!!!

Yes, I would see the great tribulaion being past, as the partial preterists do.
It would be the time of the wrath of God, not Saton.
Verses that would lead me to that understanding are as follows:

Mathew 23...a series of verses here that decribe the bad guys and why they were the bad guys....
33"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath.

The above is involved in the coming on the clouds event which is immeiately after the great tribulation...so yes it is the wrath of God. It is further described by the old doctor Luke:

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

It is important to consider this phrase as well in the verse..........that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

The description of the beast gives us help to understand why Islam is the beast of revelations:

It has the body of a leopard... this represents Africa, which has a large number of muslims.

It has the feet of a bear... this represents the nations to the south of Russia, and former states of the USSR which lie in the south, also largely muslim.

It has the mouth of a lion... this represents Arab countries (royalty).

It had blasphemous names on ten heads: KazakhSTAN (short for satan), AfghaniSTAN, PakiSTAN... (I must verify that there are indeed ten such nations, making this interpretation more substantial).

Now don't get me wrong, I am not a hate-monger. I was a muslim, and my parents are from Pakistan. But they are being brainwashed to push Israel into the sea over there, which you know is the description of the beasts's vocation according to the apostle.

In fact, many people are hungry for the truth, and we would do well to send bibles, not bombs. As the Lord said to Peter when he wanted to rain fire down from heaven on those who refused to believe in the Messiah,

"We did not come to destroy but to save men's lives."

It is not America's job nor the UK's to wage war on terrorism, but the Lord Himself will appear on mount Zion to destroy the 200 million soldiers who march on Jerusalem. Deus Ex Machina.

This says that no one will be able to go to war with the beast.

That would mean that America was destroyed, Europe, Russia and China would have to be in total shambles.

America is undefeatable on the battle field. America is able to make war with many different countries simultaneously, as we are doing now. Muslim countries can all be easily taken over, just as Iraq the with the fourth largest military in the world was easy overwhelmed in a matter of days.

So how do Muslims get so much power that they are able to so completely destroy America, that America which has the nuclear capability to destroy the world 10 times over, is not able to make war with them?

The beast is not Muslim. Americans should look quite a bit closer to home, to the one who the world truly understands they can not make war against {The American Empire}.

No, no, no ... the Antichrist are not a religious or military killer, the Bible say that he is the seductor. forget those muslim Antichrist followed by a army of crazy killer...

The Antechrist will come after some fool will bring a war and desolation, wen everybody will think it's the end and the Antichrist are here on earth, another guy will come and stop that war and do miracles, after that he will call himsell the Christ or the guide for all humankind.

The Antichrist will look like a saint, he will have a great charisma like a magnet bringing everyone to him, and he will say that he are the Christ of the christian, the Messia of the jew, the last Buddha, Krisna, and the last prophet of the muslim.

But, before all that, there will be great disasters and many false revelations who will bring doubts in the faith of millions of christians, bringing the great apostasy to a peak.
