What you are asking for does take a lot of grunt work for sure.
It also takes a wide and intimate knowledge of the Bible as a whole, as well as an intricate methodology of sifting through the passages of the Bible systematically in order to find the pertinent recurring patterns that will lead to those needles in the haystack.

Perhaps, yet that is not the case for me...i have none of the above.....yet there was just something that was missing in the study of Job with my beloved Dr. McGee. And it seemed that he had maybe missed a major point about Job, and that was what i could not dismiss nor just move on from. And the major point he missed lies inside these keys.

...i was reading Revelation 11:18 and this loomed out at me, a "key" once again that ties into understanding the book of Job (and especially Job's relationship with God). Like another Lamp, Light, arrow pointing the way, there it was:

"And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets , and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth" ~ Revelation 11:18

After God restores Job, what happens to his wife and his three friends?

We know from the text that Job had 10 more children and there's no mention of a new wife, so it seems likely she bore 10 more children. Perhaps in the end she also suffers enough.

Thank you for your response. It's quite an interesting study. It is true that there's nothing definitive said one way or the other about Job's wife like it was said about Lot's wife, who was turned into a pillar of salt.

our brother Michael Collum posted this in another thread.....i'm posting it here because it zero's in on something rare, a "glimpse", an empathy into what Job must've been experiencing when his "night" fell, and pieces shattered everywhere.

I'm calling it "Job's Lamentation" (although the title of it is "Job"):

^_^

Actually, that's pretty funny ..

i was thinking of like some earthquake coming along .. and then there's like just a pile of salt and some merchants come and pick it up and sell it .

hahaaaa i don't see much diff'rence between Lot's wife and Job's

yeah me neither . Job seems prototypical of what followed in the children of Abraham . i think a lot of psalms and proverbs may have used this as inspiration . it even talks of christ in many of Job's questions .

i was reading over Ecclesiastes this morning and lo and behold there it was, another "key".

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." ~Ecclesiastes 12:13

It reminded me of this verse below, which is another "key".....more pieces of the puzzle to understanding the Book of Job, and Job's relationship with God.

"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" ~Micah 6:8

After God restores Job, what happens to his wife and his three friends?
The friends were humiliated by God and told off by him and then they changed their lives and became much better people and stopped judging others. His wife had many more children and probably got really tired.
