lol, anything to help yourselves avoid confronting the reality that a lot of sincere, normal Americans have a problem with the President, eh? What demonization of the other side won't you guys believe?

I don't do protests of any sort, but anecdotally, more people I've known personally have attended these No Kings protests than any other sort of political gathering I'm aware of.

It is a reported aspect of these things. Some may have actually come from Idaho, but certainly not all.

Has Trump declared himself King or prime ruler? No, he hasn't and he'll be out of office in three years and not allowed to run for president again.

He's posted pictures of himself with a crown and overstepped his authority time nd time again. That is, of course, leaving off the fact that after he lost the election last time around he tried to start an insurrection and prevent Biden from being sworn in.

So, what are the no-Kings protests really about?

Over-reach of authority and acting as if he were a monarch.

Okay these posts are getting way too long so I'm going to start limiting my responses. I have no reason to think that any of the assassination attempts have anything to do with trying to stop a dictatorship from happening.

Two of the assassins wrote about stopping the fascists Trump and Kirk ie "catch this fascist".

Even the 'No Kings' protest was said to be about stopping fascism. This narrative has been going for 10 years now.

So of course some of the more radicals will use violence to stop the Nazi and fascists. Thats how it works. If Trump is painted as a fascist and Nazi over and over again then some are going to believe this and act on it.

And I don't know which violence acts you're referencing.

You don't watch the news. You agree there has been an increase in violence against Trump and the government. The use of violence and terror is usually politically or religiously motivated. So those commiting violence are politically motivated. Call it stopping fascism, Nazis, a King, or dictator. They are using violence as a means.

I don't recall any fears of a dictatorship when Trump was campaigning. I know that people noted that Trump spoke admirably of dictators. He talked over and over again about Putin and Russia, Russia, Russia beginning in 2014. It was in his third year in office when Trump's rhetoric started conveying that he was not going to give up power if he lost the election. And sure enough, he had crafted a plan along with fellow Republicans to try and overturn the election results.

Ok so you have used his words and yet he has not become a dictator in reality. But the left have also used words to paint Trump as a want to be dictator that is actually a threat to democracy. This extreme rhetoric is fueling radicals after 10 years of constant narratives. What do you expect.

There is recorded audio evidence on October 31, of Steve Bannon saying that Trunp planned to declare victory even knowing he had lost. There is video evidence of Roger stone putting a fake elector scheme in motion before the election was over. This is why I'm saying that there is factual evidence justifying fears of this administration becoming a dictatorship.

Yeah he says stupid things that will come back and bite him. I reckon if you had a microphone behind the scenes on every politician you would be shocked. People would be forever hounded by their words.

I recall some controversy with Nancy Pelosi recorded words that were not meant to get out. We had a high profile politician say some pretty bad stuff when a mic was left on after an interview lol. Full of F bombs and hate. Everyone thought he was an angel lol.

He is kind of funny and different because of that. He sometimes speaks off the top of his head. But he has a team surrounding him that are froim different backgrounds. They keep him in check lol.

In some ways you get what you see and hear and theres nothing else. Which though sometimes brash and over the top is all there is. I would rather that then have some politicians with big smiles and charm secretly plotting evil behind the scenes.

He just wanted Pence to do his job. Trump didn’t try to overturn an election he just wanted a fair one. There was no Trump induced insurrection that is just a liberal talking point as recent facts have shown. Just be patient there most likely are more facts about that day to see the light of day.

The SCOTUS has ruled on Trump's side time and time again.

The district court judges, 259 that Biden appointed six months before the election, have violated
the separation of powers between the executive branch and the judicial. They are activist judges,
period. The SCOTUS ruled that one district judge cannot make nationwide rulings as they tried to

I find that in making these kinds of judgment it's more important to look at what people do rather than what they say.

They are about overreach. But I do not blame Trump. He is just doing what any egomaniac would do. The real problem is SCOTUS and congress who refuse to hold him accountable or limit his overreach, and guys like Bannon who claim to have a plan to get him a 3rd term.
