  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. - Romans 13

I would be curious to know if you posted anything calling out the Biden administration or rogue AG’s doing exactly what you accuse this administration of.
It's not an accusation. And no, I don't recall seeing Biden text his AG and tell them they need to get someone.
IMO it is quite hypocritical for some to glory in the multiple prosecutions of Trump under the cry of no one is above the law while claiming political prosecutions when actual laws provably have been broken by some on the left.
I don't like seeing others glory in prosecutions either.
It is an absolute joke for anyone to claim the 2020 election was “the most secure election in American history “. In past years even some Democrats publicly stated mail in ballots were opportunity for fraud. Just with the unusual surge in the number of ballots claimed to have been cast is cause for question alone. Never before or since did we have that many voters in a national election.
There have been several recounts and audits in swing states. All of them showed a valid election.
Good for him! Check into that AG’s conflicts of interest and connections to Comey. Comey is on video lying under oath. Let the no one is above the law slogan actually work.
Good for Trump? I don't see how it's good for him.
I see you make no mention of gang members, human traffickers, drug dealers, sexual abusers of women and children. No where in scripture are unrepentant law breakers coddled and rewarded for their crimes without consequences.
I know Jesus talked about visiting him in prison.

These are the types that are the priority targets of ICE. Just watch some of the videos of reporters covering these ICE protesters and you will find many unhinged, uneducated in facts , violent in many cases and sometimes paid protestors who only scream and shout talking points not even at times able to articulate why they are there.
I'm sure you can find those who are not as articulate as others.

Border is now secure!
thanks to 140 billion dollars and 8000 troops.
My eggs are cheaper. Everyone was freaking out over the price of eggs.
Yeah, that bird flu thing was a problem
This is absolutely absurd. The truth is the country did not want an incompetent president. Her skin color and gender were not factors. There are competent CONSERVATIVE black women I would have voted for had they been the candidate. Kamala was not the candidate by the the votes of her party! She was installed as candidate by an undemocratic process. Kamala was not a competent VP and had no qualifications to be President.
I agree with you that it does sound absurd and I regret posting it. What was on my mind was a panel of voters who were asked if they felt her being a black woman would be a detriment. Surprisingly more than half of them said yes.

The allegiance should not even by the church or politics.

I meant that in respect to compromise. When a person is blind they’ll believe they’re doing the right thing even when their actions prove otherwise. If they’re heeding the party’s voice and believers are caught in the fray don’t expect them to switch gears. That‘s why I likened their behavior to a cult and said they can’t be trusted.

Don’t you remember what happened during the pandemic when people reported their neighbors? Here’s snippet from a piece by The Washington Times.

Now certain politicians are asking the citizenry to lower themselves to a level normally occupied by the establishment’s cynical and self-obsessed machinery: Snitch, they say. Spy on and turn in your less-than-perfect neighbors. You will be rewarded, the politicians say, for indulging the worst in yourself. The system needs you to become a cog in the wheel of a system run by politicians who ruin cities and lives.

“New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio urged residents Saturday to turn in neighbors who fail to follow social distancing rules, encouraging them to text photos of violators and report their location to a government hotline,” The Washington Times reported.

Mr. de Blasio told New Yorkers to use the city’s non-emergency 311 number, “and action will ensue.” He said “Now it is easier than ever. When you see a crowd, when you see a line that’s not distanced, when you see a supermarket that’s too crowded, anything, you can report it right away so we can get help there to fix the problem,” he said in a statement, the newspaper reported.

But it’s not just New York where liberals are excited at the opportunity to train people to further divide their own communities. The mayor of deep blue Austin, Texas, is urging citizens there to snitch on their neighbors, too. Red State reported the mayor urging residents to report those who are not complying with his order, “If you see violations in the community, construction sites, restaurants, it would be good to call 311 and let the city and county know what’s happening.”

That is the culture war that has been brewing for years. Even churches get political with each other now like they are opposing identies with the broad church of God. But like you say mostly they are more aligned with secular ideas and use religion to justify their different positions. How can there be so many divided groups libing in the one church and society.

You can’t establish a new order when unity is plentiful. It requires division. The internet allowed them to put us in a million boxes. While race and inequality were bigger issues before its arrival. We’ve discovered new ways to separate and disagree to the point where we’re isolated, in echo chambers or friendless. Once upon a time we focused on common denominators most. Now difference is the litmus test instead.

This is spooky stuff lol. I remeber something about Trump and South Park lol. Maybe Trump is the anti Christ. Doesn't the bible say that the anti Christ will bring peace to the middle east of 7 years. Then it will be broken half way through. If that happens I am heading for the hills lol.

I don’t believe he’s the one the bible speaks of but he’s on the team nonetheless and moving us closer to that point,

Since his death I hear some people saying anyone who supports Kirks beliefs is spreading hate. Kirk seemed to align with Trump or Trump with Kirk. How do Christians and conservatives reconsile this.

You can’t run in those circles and be unscathed. There’s a ceiling in place for everyone and you don’t move beyond it without agreement. I don’t view him in the light the majority do. Cronyism is an integral part of certain echelons. They don’t open their wallets and bring you into their world without guarantees in place. You have to keep their secrets and that’s only possible if they have something on you as well. That’s how it works.

Christians have entered a dangerous practice of fandom. They’re enamored with people and ideologies and desperate for a win. They want a hero they can point to that others can follow and we see the same in church. They’re drawn to personalities. Our focal point is Christ not human representatives. We may share some of His qualities. But we shouldn’t be exalted or smitten with anyone to the point where we’re unable to acknowledge their imperfections because of our allegiance.

What if people were to go out in public and speak of the same beliefs. Is this now a problem for Christians. Should they be careful or keep quiet in how they speak about their beliefs.

Do you think there is a conflict between the ideas and beliefs of the public square and Christian beliefs. Which may align with conservative views at times. Where is the line.

I think there’s a place for candid conversations. But allowing our beliefs to reveal themselves through our actions and countenance should be the goal. I’m reminded of a neighbor that lived next door years ago. I didn’t know her well but one year she left a tin of cookies for Christmas. I knocked on the door to thank her and we chatted for a bit and she told me I reminded her of Tebow. I didn’t know who she was talking about and she told me to look him up.

I did and I was shocked. We weren’t acquainted and never discussed the Lord. But we shared a wall in the room where I prayed. I was serving a lot during that period and going to church four times per week. She explained the reason later on when we conversed and likened my faith to the scripture he wore on his forehead. Although we were strangers she wasn’t wrong. I was ministering in my neighborhood too with the homeless, baristas at Starbucks, employees at Whole Foods, prayer walking and talking to strangers. I used to pray for divine appointments every day and they were plentiful.

But I didn’t talk about God at first. I spent a lot of time listening, recognizing their presence, sharing an encouraging word and offering support. I complimented their work and genuinely enjoyed their company. Because of my interest in them as a person (irrespective of my beliefs) I had an opportunity to share my faith or offers for prayer and wasn’t rebuffed.

I share that to illustrate the necessity of being kind and not treating people like projects or talking at them. This is an area where they’re unenlightened or may be weak but we have ours as well and sometimes we forget that. You mentioned conservative views and I don’t embrace that for myself. But I can tailor my conversation to anyone and find common ground without resorting to conflict.

I lead with love when I’m addressing people who believe differently. We’re all in the dark at some point and I remember how it felt to be supported and allowed to find the answers devoid of pressure or heavy handedness. I was welcomed and made to feel at home and treated like family because I was one of them due to my presence. Not on account of my beliefs. It’s the essence of oneness and it left an imprint that became a hallmark of my ministry.

If you’re going to have a platform it should be anointed. Whether it’s in the public domain or in person. It’s a different battle spiritually and you need to be equipped. That doesn’t mean you can’t share your opinions or experiences but scale makes a difference. And you need to know your flock. No message resonates with everyone and there’s usually a burden involved. The less we identify with philosophies that divide the richer our soil becomes. We limit our effectiveness when we put ourselves in a box.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t address spiritual gifts in relation to your question. That’s why I mentioned anointing earlier. There are people in positions of visibility throughout society who serve as ambassadors for the kingdom. You don’t have to stand on a stage and discuss your faith to be among that group. But you’ll be in a position with some measure of influence that provides opportunities to be a light demonstratively. It’s not without risks and you’re willing to endure them for His sake.

But that doesn’t imply others must follow suit or threaten their livelihood to be bold. Every assignment differs and the Lord is strategic. How you’d conduct yourself in a boardroom will differ from someone with a christian youtube channel. It’s a different sandbox which determines our procession. That’s why we shouldn’t mimic anyone and allow the Lord to direct our course. What worked for Billy Graham may not apply to us and its a different mantle. Which determines the scope, scale and opposition.

When you understand the principle of altars, stars and mantles you cease to emulate. It’s the Elijah/Elisha paradigm. In the early days of my walk I imagined myself ministering on stage like Joyce Meyers. I didn’t want to be her but I knew I could do it because of my talent. If I limited myself to her example I would have missed my blessing. He gave me something beyond it I’d never imagine that I loved as a child.

It’s okay to be inspired by someone. But the Lord must build the house to His specifications not ours. The message will have more potency when you operate from that place.

I didn't say they think it's a dictatorship. I am conveying that they are against it becoming a dictatorship.
So wait a minute. Trump is not a dictatorship and yet we have all this violence and assassinations attempts and murder because some people think it might become one.

Isn't this is what was said 10 years ago the first time Trump won that the opposition said it would become a dictatorship and it never. Yet we seen dictator type governance from the Dems when they ot in using lawfare againt the opposition, gas lighting the nation over Biden and bypassing the democratic process in selecting their presesidential candidate Harris.
Then how is it a dictatorship or threatening to become one. Do you think people narratives about Trump being a dictator has fuels the idea of Trump being seen as one by the opposition. When its not actually one. Which in turn is fueling violence where some radicals are calling for a revolution and the taking out of TRump and others as part of that revolution to bring down the government.
Polls can be misleading. What do people think of deporting dreamers for example. https://www.pewresearch.org/race-and-ethnicity/2025/03/26/americans-views-of-deportations/
No the polls are the polls. Why is it they are always misleading when they don't say what you want them to say. Most people on this thread seem to believe that stopping illegals is the right thing to do considering the problems its causing for the US. Trump was electred on this policy why would it now be misleading. Its consistent with what he was elected for.
I would think billionaires would be more for autocracy while ordinary citizens would be for preserving democracy.
Why do you keep saying this. Do you realise the biggest billionaire in the world is behind the dems and sponsoring them in Mr Soros. Many dems have wealth. Trump was not even a republican when before becoming president. MUst was a democrate and it was fine. Now he supports Trump he is some dictator.
The media marketplace is already owned by conglomerates who make money either way. Do you remember when I showed who voted for citizens united and who voted for the FEC?
I am not sure. Why is it important if both sides do it. Why are you singling out one side over the other.
What violence are you referring to? I like to reason upon facts.
You don't think all the talk about Trump and the Right being dictators and Nazis is not fueling violence. About Kirk speaking hate and needing to be silenced. That 1/3 of college kids now think its ok to use violence against political opponents. The rising political violence, 3 assassination attempts on TRump, one successful one on Kirk and other shootings and threats everyday. THreats and violence has gone up 1,000%.

If you like to reason the facts and you seem to be keeping up with all this situation how is it you don't know and have to ask for evidence. You should know if you keep up with facts and use critical thinking.

There’s a growing number of Americans who think violence might be necessary to get the country back on track
The belief that violence may be the answer has grown among Republicans and independents – up 3 and 7 percentage points, respectively, since April last year. But the largest increase has been among Democrats. Now 28% of Democrats share that view, up 16 points.

Americans say politically motivated violence is increasing, and they see many reasons why

Right-wing terror attacks plunged in 2025, while left-wing attacks ticked up: study

This tells us that the beliefs of thinking violence is more acceptable is actually resulting factually in more violence. So when people push this narrative that the US is under threat from dictators and Nazi they are actually cultivating violence in the streets.
That's what most people think that support Trump. But the fact remains, we're not supposed to have the military doing domestic law enforcement.
As far as I understand its completely within the constitution. The courts have supported this. I thought you said you reasoned out the facts. If you mischaracterise Trump and the supporters then this is what is causing the problem.
Trump is saying he is considering invoking the insurrection act, based on false claims of out of control crime rates in Democratic run cities.
Well he will only be able to if this is actually the case. The constitution deals with such situations. But lets keep with reality.
I'd say they are ignoring what he is saying.
No I mean that Trump supports disagree. If they agree with Trump actions on immigration.
I don't think you understand what is going on. Trump lost a fair election. With the help of fellow republicans he tried to get Pence the vice president to overturn the results so as to stay in power. That is proof of a wannabe dictator. He now fires anyone in his administration who doesn't believe his slander.
Yet the majority voted him back in as though this was not the case. Thats the reality. Are they all fools.
Like I said, he lost the election fair and square. He slanders people. There is no evidence of far-left radicals.
But he won the election fair and square now and people are trying to undermine this now. He is doing what he promised and people support this.

People keep bringing up old news. In fact the reason why some dems and other independents joined with Trump was because they actually percieved it the other way around. That it was the dems who were threatening democracy with all their gas lighting and lawfare. Some are at this point being indicted.
I like to reason upon facts. You need to provide some evidence of what you claim.
I don't think you like to reason out facts. I already gave you the facts.
The disagreement is about what constitutes humane and just treatment of people. We have parents who are illegals who have children who are lawful citizens. We have children who were brought here as toddlers and are now living productive lives as adults and professionals who don't have any prospects in the country they were brought from. We have millions of refugees who have no lawful citizenship anywhere in the world.
So how does any of this change the fact that they are illegal. As far as I understand the children involved parents are the illegals. So some are being deported and as a result are taking their children with them. The children citizens are not being deporteed and the government cannot do so under the consitution.

This is an example of the false narrative that Trump is deporting citizens that is contributing to the violence. People then believe this and then attack the government. The same as the false narrative about ICE agents wearing masks like some secret police. They are protecting theirs and their families life from these radicals.
The problem is complex. Cartels just toss drug shipments over the wall or cut holes in it with angle grinders. They simply pay border guards to look the other way.
Ok so a tougher stand on border security will at least reduce most of this.

How Trump’s border crackdown has choked cartels’ fentanyl flow into the US

Why is it always the negatiove stuff and never the positive. If its about being humane then is not stopping this horror drug trade thats killing many people and destroying communities good.
Yeah, when he fools people, he really fools people.
Your more or less saying anyone who supports Trump is deluded. This is part of the problem.
Immigration reform has been an issue for most of my lifetime.
Good so Trump finally doing something is good is it not. It seems it has been left like the middle east and terrorism and now action is being taken rather than just accepting it happens or even cultivating a situation for it to happen.
I not sure why you say maybe. I like to reason upon facts and what I have provided is what I find as officially documented. I don't recall any narratives that suggested illegals were not illegals, so I don't know what you mean.
Lol they never say it outright. They are not that stupid. Its politics. Often the language is not explicit but implicit. When for example Harris promised free health care for illegals she was more or less promoting people coming illegally into the US with the promise of better health care if you came to the US illegally.

There are many such examples and this cultivates people coming and then being catered for. The better policy would have been illegals get no health benefits so don't come. All part of making it absolutely clear that coming is illegal and there will be no benefit from breaking the laws.

Sen. Kamala Harris’s claim that an ‘undocumented immigrant is not a criminal’

Justice Department Publishes List of Sanctuary Jurisdictions

Democrats Used To Talk About 'Criminal Immigrants,' So What Changed The Party?
The makeup of the Democratic Party has changed, and its base has adopted a fundamentally more progressive attitude on immigration in a relatively short time span. The reality is that Democrats have moved, too, from when the party cited the flow of drugs and "criminal immigrants" two decades ago, the same arguments for border security that Republicans use now.

The Progressive Moment Is *Still* Over
Thus, while in 1998 similar majorities of both Democrats and Republicans believed in the need to control and reduce illegal immigration, by 2018 Democrats had largely abandoned this view and Republicans had increasingly embraced it.

1. Loosening restrictions on illegal immigration was a terrible idea and voters hated it.
Aside from the economy, no issue loomed as large in the Democrats’ 2024 election drubbing than the immigration issue. Voters thought Democrats had completely lost the plot on illegal immigration and utterly failed to control the border. Voters cast their ballots accordingly, clearly preferring a much tougher approach to illegal immigration, including not just closing the border but deporting illegal immigrants already in the country.
I don't personally know of anybody who disagrees with deporting illegals full stop.
According to the above articles the Dems use to be tough on bordcers and illegal immigration but then changed suddenly in the last 10 years. Became more progreswsive on this issue to the point some were radically progressive thus fueling violence at tough immigration.
I know it's mostly illegal people who have grown up here and who have productive lives and who are neighbors and who have children born here who are legal citizens that out of compassion many would like to see amnesty be granted.
Yes that seems fair enough. Just start from now and those who have been here for some time just grant citizenship and move on. There may be some cases more complicated but primarily if they have been here a long time and have not done anything wrong they should be able to stay.

We had the same problem when we cracked down a couple of decades ago.
Geopolitically, I know Aleksandr Dugin has spoken about it for decades. A plan to divide the world into three superpowers by destabilizing democratic governments with culture wars.
lol I though the idea being pushed is a one world government (The Great Reset) where we will have less and be more happier than ever. Some sort of socialist utopia. A sort mimicking of Gods kingdom.
The plan involves step one, buying up media in those countries with democratic governments,
Sort of all ready happening. Or was happening. The problem is you have to stop democracy to do so because the very nature of democracy and freedom is that it allows independents to rise up.

With the didgital age anyone has access to the world and can do it from their living room or home studio and have as much clout as the big boys. In fact has been partly why the big media is failing now and no one believes them anymore.
and also buying large shares in companies who employ large numbers of the citizenry in the major cities. Step two, create turmoil and war in countries bordering those democratic countries, thus creating millions of refugees fleeing into the democratic countries one wants to destabilize. Step three, send in pro autocratic politicians who run on a platform of anti-immigration.
You know this is true but I don't think its any one particular person or organisation behind it. I think its more assn ideology that has ground through a belief and not a take over by force. I think this is the latest ploy of radical Islamist in infiltrating western nations through media, propaganda, encourage resistence, spreading fake news and trying to divide the nation.

But also as mentioned earlier there is a growing radicalisation which primarily has the same thinking. Except they are doing it for political reason mainly with Marxist beliefs. Many smaller groups like BLM, ANTIFA, Trans groups, Anti Semetics ect. But also nationalist radicals like White supremacy groups like Neo Nazis ect.

Generally what use to happen in far away nations with radical ideology is now coming to western nations. Rather than the western nations spreading freedoms and democracy. It seems the radicals are winning and turning teh world into chaos.
When Dugin wrote about it, he said America would be difficult and I assume he was referring to the fact that we are already a melting pot of many cultures. He said something like democrats in the USA would not fall for it, but republicans would be open to accepting racism under the guise of anti-multiculturalism.
I think most western nations began on a unified basis loosely under God. There was at least some respect and unity on certain issues. This created national unity. But things change in a modern progressive world and now we have 101 splintered beliefs and ideologies in the market place competing.

In some ways its a reciept for radicalisation in that sooner or later because they are different and about truth and order in the world that there will be division and at the extremes radical fighting over that truth. We use to have a strong unified identity that was clearly different to far away radical beliefs and ideas. Now who knows. But theres many identity groups now fighting.
The people who work for him don't think so. I've seen two cabinet meetings where each member at the table takes a turn complimenting him on how great he is and what an honor it is to serve under his leadership.
Using what people thought about others can be a never ending rabbit hole of comparing whose opinion was the worse. Many whave said the same about Harris. Or other politicians on both sides.

I don't. I personally know that many on the local are genuine servants of the people. and I know a few on the federal level and they would not want any backside-kissing advisors.

Yes I think local members are often new before they are corrupted by the system lol. They start out so good and believe they can change things.

But inevitable its the party machine that dictates. Thats why now even when policies are good they will be shot down as bad so as not to show agreement. Its become to ploarised.
Actually, a left/right dichotomy represents equally valid opposing subjective views. In politics we can see the reasoning in dichotomies like employer/employee, consumer/supplier, buyer/seller.
But still and maybe quite often being a (subjective) left/right dichotomy both can be wrong or a side that is right is rationalised as wrong based on the subjective beliefs of that party.

For example you can make a rationalisation under moder political ideas and beliefs that abortion is a human right. Yet to many its a fundemental wrong. It all depends on what ideology is accepted in that society. Under Hitler I am sure they had good rationalisations for why Jews were an inferior race. I am sure Marx or those with Marxist beliefs have good rationalisation for using subversive violence against the State.
I think you're being too cynical. Like is said there are valid left/right dichotomies in politics. There are people who run for office who are led by the Spirit of Christ.
Running for office in world politics and standing with Christ is an impossibility. Sooner or later that a Christian has to align their politics with the party machine. The party machine and ideology its based on is not for Christ but the world.
There are facts and the truth is not impotent. There's a difference between positive and negative prejudice. The course of grace through faith is reasonable, while the course of cynicism through mutual distrust is unreasonable.
That itself seems subjective. What the world will regard as truth and Christs truth and fair can be two opposing beliefs. That some truths align does not make the world Christian or for Christs truth and Gods law and order.

In fact the world hates Christ and you are either for him or against him. Which includes implicit ideas within world ideologies that oppose His teachings and Gods law and order.
The Gospel has spiritual enemies because people are the battlefield. Most times, if you say his Name Jesus in public, the devil is present in the air.
So imagine saying it in the present political culture wars. Its fundementally bound to provoke anti Christ spirits through that political ideology.
The devil is an accuser/slanderer. He will use ad hominem attacks, attacking the messenger, and he will use false equivalence as in unfair weights and measures that show iniquity.
Yes this has been the tactics of identity politics. Making identity the issue when its more fundementally a spiritual battle.
Those who preach the Gospel must expect to carry the same cross as the Christ did, and forgive those who will crucify you, just as he did. It's The Holy Spirit that provides the courage.
Yes that is why engaging in politics will subvert Christians because it forces them to play the same game of politics which is designed not to forgive and to enforce an ideology onto others as to what they believe (not God) is best for society and the world.

In fact in todays political culture wars it would be expected that Christians will be the innocents outside the system simply staying true to Christ even under political condemnation and differentiated from the main culture war. Neither one side or the other. A new and seperate group that is not tarred with the corruption and politics of the main system.
I've never seen a guy like Trump on either side. He slanders others more than any person I've ever seen.
See even thats an exaggeration. He just does it more explicitely. But politics has a history of saying falsehoods against each other. But even throughout history we have many examples.

Also look at social media and media. It is absolutely full of slander for one another and fake news. It is the age of slander lol. Trump just does it better lol. Not that its right. But in some ways just using the same tactics just more bombastically. Thats why I say no one is an innocent in the system of world politics (he who is without sin can throw the first stone).
He obviously approves of those who openly bow down to him and submit to his authority over them. He says he alone can fix things. He says he knows more than most anybody about almost everything. He says he is the bringer of peace, the chosen one. He indicates he wants to be worshipped.
ike I said he braggs and uses hyperbole. But the reality is his team was probably the most diverse government in modern history having several dems and other independents an dfree thinkers. It was certainly more universal than the dems who were doubling down on the same ideas. I guess thats why they won as people perc ieved a change was needed and he did attract voters from what were usually dem demographics.
Don't get me wrong; everyone should do what they're led to do, because The Spirit doesn't lead everyone to do the same thing. But the Spirit never leads us to slander others whether they're protesting in the streets or standing on the sidelines.
Yes and I think the platform or realm within which political ideologies exist is inherently going to cause people to fall into a world spirit. It has to as it has to be accommodating of world beliefs and morals which reject and defy God and Christs truth. Seperation of church and State.

Like in the early Christian church. The State hated the church and they were a seperate entity that represented a threat to world political ideologies in the end. Just as it is now rising again as the world political powers move further away from God and replace Him with the world.
Keeping true to the sentiment of to govern, politics is the delegation of power to set policy in governing.
Yes that is the problem. Its the delegation or world power over GOds Kingdom and Christs way, truth and life. It is a power and spiritual battle.
It occurs on every level, from the head of household to neighborhood HOA's, to local, to county, to state, to federal. Politics are inevitable wherever policy is being put forth in governing, including potty training.
It use to be that the family and household was an institution in itself. A powerful entity at the foundation of a society and nation. That was independent and had rights as to how the family was in private life and how that was the basis for national governance.

But now that line is blurred and as the welfare State become more involved the State dictates the family. The other way around. This was part of the progressive movement that came from the 1960s revolutions and progressed into academia and the institutions and then mainstream culture. A new social engineering from the God centered one we had fro most of our history.
I'm just saying the greatest is the one who serves the rest is different than the one who wants the rest to serve them. It can be seen in someone's words and actions.
The problem is today words and narratives have become the reality. What someone may have said even a wrong word or belief in their past. Or silly words on a social media. Are now taken as gospel and truth that represents the whole person and reality itself. This is postmodernism.

But when we look at the reality, what actually happens and this may take a few years. We find that the opposite happened. That the words did not represent the truth in practice. So I rather go with what actually happens in the long run. We have seen many claims about ideas being the truth and moral or the best policy only to be exposed as harmful and the opposite.
Matthew 5:13-16
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. ...
This is a great verse. I think it is probably the greatest verse for our political age for Christians to follow and I think many will. They will rise not by political force but purely by Christs example that many will see and find God while others will hate and attack.
I'm not saying there's going to be a utopia. I'm saying I want to bring extra oil so that my lamp is burning when the bridegroom comes.
Yes and that extra oil is radically different to this worlds ideas and not within the realm of politics. The church did best when seperated and was a beacon of goodness and hope on some hill away from the craziness of the world. That people seen seperated and came towards like a moth to a light.

The bible mentions this. That the God fearers who were the gentiles were coming to the synagogues because they were attracted to this light and life force of Christ shinning in the Christian community that was different to the world.
I've seen numerous reporting of the political divisions in congregations. The evangelicals in particular were lining up to support Trump.
It happens on both sides. The church has also become very progressive that its almost become a new religion quiet destinct for Christs church. These are the wolves who fool many. But at the same time I believe there is a revival of some sort back to the basics of Christ happening here and there. This is to be exspected when the world has corrupted the church so much. Something has to give.
I'm saying it sounds like spin --> false equivalence. When did a Democratic President try to overturn the results of a fair election to stay in power? Propaganda is about turning positives into negatives, negatives into positives, or making them look the same so no one can tell the difference.
I think in many ways the polarisation of politics makes it that each side is desperate to get and stay in power and will do almost anything for that cause. This is a symptom of modern politics and not individuals. If you look at whats happening in Europe they are literally framing each other to get into power.

Who knows what happens behind the scenes. Biden was incapable of leading. Who led the country in his place. Was there an effort to undermine a legitmate election win by creating narratives of Russian collusion ect. There are many ways democracy is undermined.

But I don't think getting into all that helps. Its a zero sum game. The who system corrupt by nature no matter which side. Its the world afterall which the bible speaks about as the dark invisible forces and principalities that are the anti Christ.
I did look at what they said. And I looked at numerous exit polls. the two main reasons were inflation and immigration.
OK so now Trump is acting on the immigration policies that he was vited in for.
It's telling right now.
Its always tells after a while. We can see the reality of past bad policies all the time. Its a never ending world of bad decisions and policies. Though I think they have become progressively worse in recent times. But that is just the bature of how the world is. It progresses and becomes more Godless and more self reliant and makes themselves gods.
I'm not sure anyone can sue the government for being deported.
Yes they can and its happened many times. If we true believe in the truth principles then they will win in the end. It may be that the Dems get back in and if there was injustices then they will ensure they are righted. But people can appeal to the international Human Rights commission and all that. Sometimes justice is served best cold.
I think deporting people to foreign countries that they've never been to qualifies as human trafficking.
Not really. Australia did this for a while and I think still does to some degree as illegal immigration has virtually trickled to hardly any at all now. Um they usually have all the supports for health and education ect. Often better than locals.

I am not sure what the solution is when there are many illegals. Its not trafficking but a compromise to human trafficking that has been forced on nations. I think the best solution is deal with the dictators and organised gangs and crime from the host nations. Maybe some percieve that hosting illegals over long periods at government expense sends the wrong message.

But what if for example theres a compromise that a neutral nation, a thrid party is willing to host illgal immigrants. It allows them to be away from their nation and have a better life. In the meantime they can perhaps apply legally for citizenship. But the US and other western nations can create alternative safe zones where they support them thus making a better life and new society that is free to live life away from the bad actors.

Fundementally the world is getting more populated and theres concern about resources. The issues in foreign nations is now encraoching on western nations doorsteps. But so is their problems. We need to get the host nations to stop treating people badly.

There have been several recounts and audits in swing states. All of them showed a valid election.
Recounting fake mail in ballots is no proof of the most free and fair election in US history. If democrats could find 81 million votes in 2020 to elect Biden why only 75 million for Harris in 2024? Hillary only had 65 million votes.

Dictators have been known to kick the ladder, historically. So how they achieved power isn't relevant, the question is how firmly they cling to it and how gracefully they give it up. Caesar came to power through republic, but after Caesar came to power the republic ceased to be. Liberty is only secure so long as the people are prone to resist even a whiff of overreach of authority.
Has Trump declared himself King or prime ruler? No, he hasn't and he'll be out of office in three years and not allowed to run for president again.

So, what are the no-Kings protests really about?

Many are paid protesters (agitators). What they are really about is destroying our form of government. This is not an organic exercise of free speech and protest, it is an organized effort to bring down this Republic. Many are just duped puppets of the organizers. Just watch some of the many videos by investigative journalist on the ground. It is easy to discern what this is when one hears the organized propaganda from the leaders and the incoherent babble from the puppets.

Yep, just watch a few videos. Here is one to prove my point.
Do these people really look like informed legitimately concerned citizens or duped puppets? You be the judge.

So wait a minute. Trump is not a dictatorship and yet we have all this violence and assassinations attempts and murder because some people think it might become one.
Okay these posts are getting way too long so I'm going to start limiting my responses. I have no reason to think that any of the assassination attempts have anything to do with trying to stop a dictatorship from happening. And I don't know which violence acts you're referencing.
Isn't this is what was said 10 years ago the first time Trump won that the opposition said it would become a dictatorship and it never.
I don't recall any fears of a dictatorship when Trump was campaigning. I know that people noted that Trump spoke admirably of dictators. He talked over and over again about Putin and Russia, Russia, Russia beginning in 2014. It was in his third year in office when Trump's rhetoric started conveying that he was not going to give up power if he lost the election. And sure enough, he had crafted a plan along with fellow Republicans to try and overturn the election results.

There is recorded audio evidence on October 31, of Steve Bannon saying that Trunp planned to declare victory even knowing he had lost. There is video evidence of Roger stone putting a fake elector scheme in motion before the election was over. This is why I'm saying that there is factual evidence justifying fears of this administration becoming a dictatorship.

...calls other people "duped puppets" and proceeds to link to commentary videos from tabloids and internet randos livestreaming from their bedrooms...
The videos are real and speak for themselves.

I know the videos are real, but no, they don't "speak for themselves." They're overlaid with lots and lots of commentary. The commentators are doing the speaking for them.

You do realize I'm talking about slandering people like other voters, illegal immigrants and public figures, right?
It's not "slander" until you prove that it is.

Forget the commentary and focus on the puppets. They really do speak for themselves.
