Of course he uses an earth curve calculator which does not take refraction into consideration, even though being down near sea level will have considerable refraction evident.

Although language now distinguishes between "stars" and "planets" they come from the same root word, meaning "star", with a word meaning "wandering" added when planets were to be specified. I'm not sure whether you are saying that the planets don't exist, or that they do, but God didn't create them.

I've had a closer look and used Walter Bislin's earth curve calculator which includes the effect of refraction, and the video above is exactly what you would see from that distance on the globe earth.

Part of the problem with the video is he is viewing Worm's Head from NW direction, so he is looking along the length of the main body. Hence the middle section which is completely hidden by the curve of the earth, would not have even been visible from that angle as it is hidden behind higher elevated areas. What he thinks is the middle section can't possibly be because it is lower in elevation than the Western tip of the island, which is obscured.

Which brings me to the other problem with the video, in that the lower parts of Worm's Head, particularly the Western tip, are actually hidden by the curvature of the earth. No amount of zooming in with his precious Nikon P900 can bring it back into view, so his video proves definitively that the Earth is not "flat as a pancake" as he claims at the beginning. All his video does is demonstrate the shortcomings of earth curve calculators which do not factor in the effect of refraction.

So thank you for posting that lovely proof of the curvature of the earth. I found it very edifying.

What direction are you looking at it from?
What is the elevation where you are viewing it from?
What distance are you viewing it from?

Don't answer those, because I wouldn't want you to give away your location. Otherwise some freemason globe conspirator may find his way there and put poison in your tea.

Haven't a clue, all I know is that I live high up and can view Worms Head as clear as day & can even see the hotel that stands on Rhossili
