The Russian Deep State doesn't subvert the president because the president is a member of the Deep State himself - the KGB.

The president, by definition, is not part of the deep state - he is the face of the state to the nation and to the world, in other words, the very surface of the state.

BREXIT is the biggest threat to the EU's globalist agenda; and YET Brexit was still allowed to happen.

An accident. Do you think David Cameron would have called that referendum if he expected that the British people would actually vote to leave?

Sweden & Italy recently elected conservative populist governments.

...and we'll see what comes of it. I won't be surprised if, like the Trump administration, they are hamstrung and beleaguered by hostile elements in their own ranks. It's already happened in Sweden, where the populists have been excluded from the governing coalition.

Putin, on the other hand, is allowed to freely pursue Russia's national interests, which is why he is hated by Western elites.

There are opposition parties in the Russian Duma. Or do you consider opposition not to be "meaningful" unless it is controlled by the CIA?

The deep state isn't supposed to be working for any man, but for the country and its laws.

What do the laws say? Most of the deep state operatives (Dept of State, Dept of Defense, Dept of Justice, etc.) are in the executive branch, which means that per the US Constitution, they are under the President's authority. Insubordination to the President on their part is a violation of the Constitution.
