One of the more striking aspects about Tucker Carlson’s recent interview with Vladimir Putinwas that so many viewers came away with a favorable impression of the Russian autocrat.

Putin, who in recent days has made fresh threats toward NATO, including allusions to nuclear weapons, may rank among the most despised (and feared) men in the world, but there’s no question he has his admirers, even here in the U.S. This misplaced esteem speaks volumes about where we are as a country right now.

From Putin’s perspective, the sit-down with Carlson, which has garnered more than 200 million views on Carlson’s X (formerly Twitter) platform, was an unqualified success. The timing of the interview, for starters, coincided with fresh questions about President Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline. By comparison, Putin demonstrated impressive command of Russian history, shared insider details about aborted peace talks in Ukraine, and had obviously done his homework on Carlson, mentioning his degree in history and his interest in working for the CIA.

The litany of grievances against NATO that Putin recited also dovetailed conveniently with Donald Trump’s recent barbs about the alliance. And on top of all this, the interview landed just when Washington was locked in a pitched battle over continued U.S. war support for Ukraine, which already totals $75 billion.

He's no hero, but neither is he suffering from senile dementia. It's kind of like the old Soviet Union where the likes of Konstantin Chernenko and company ruled though they were well past their prime. Here the gerontocracy is preserved in the USA whether Trump or Biden wins. Comparatively Putin looks youthful. He can string sentences together in his rambles. Our guy can't even do that.

I'm not American so i don't know what picture of Putin your media supplies you with but he was born and bred in the stable of Soviet Communism; he rose through the KGB to finally sit on the throne of Russia. You can't take the path of Communism and Christianity and be true to both.

Putin's 'popularity' here is partly because of Media/Govt denunciation of him and lies told about him and Russia. The same Govt/Media that have shown their disdain and contempt for the people that don't share their views and values, want to rally everyone to hate Putin/Russia for not sharing the same views and values that they champion.

One thing that bugged me about the article: the author writes of the immense suffering in Ukraine. USA is diabolical in its Foreign Policy and USA is the one keeping Ukraine in a War that it simply cannot win. As seen recently (Afghan), USA will simply walk away from the trouble it created...

Things to think about.
Putin handing Trump a soccer ball a few yrs ago.
Pictures and vids of Carlson and Trump together laughing and joking with each other.
And this man Riccardo Bosi who once interviewed Mike Flynn and in the vid Mike saying , we are all together now.

In other words they are all on the same team and fighting the same enemy.
In this short vid Bosi gives away some good info on Ukraine , Putin , Clinton etc.
