Now that we all see 2 Thessalonians 2:12
Has nothing to do with eternal life, we can move back to the truth.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
That's it. Just ignore a verse that shows that those who NEVER BELIEVED will be condemned.

That means those who HAVE BELIEVED (aorist tense - past event) will not be condemned.

Your cowardice is shown by totally ignoring the verse. I never said anything about the words "eternal life" in that verse.

I am pointing out who will be condemned. Those who NEVER BELIEVED.

This blows a huge hole in your unbiblial theory that those who cease to believe WILL be condemned.

But the verse is clear, and you cannot refute: those who never believed will be condemned.

It says nothing about those who used to believe will be condemned.

Which proves that your theory is unbiblical and false.

Of course Jews who are wanting a new temple for animal sacrifices because they don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah,
Are unbelievers who never believed!

God will send them strong delusion.

What does this have to do with believing Jews who turn away from Christ, under persecution, back to Judaism? LOL!!!

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Again your title of this thread is.

Again, continuing to ignore the very clear implications of 2 Thess 2:12.

The category of those who "never believed" would include EVERYONE who never believed.

Do you really not understand what "never believed" means?

You certainly have a problem with those who "believed for a while".

But why won't you admit that "never believed" means just what it says?

The second soil of Luke 8:13 is EXEMPTED from 2 Thess 2:12 because they actually DID believe, even though for a while.

"Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away."

Are you going to claim that those who believed for a while are going to be condemned?

If you do claim that, you are in a huge delusion, because 2 Thess 2:12 speaks of those who never believed.

Do you really think that "believe for a while" is synonymous with "never believed"?

If so, please explain how they are the same.

God will send them strong delusion.
You are under a very strong delusion, but it's not from God.

What does this have to do with believing Jews who turn away from Christ, under persecution, back to Judaism? LOL!!!
2 Thess wasn't ever about Jews turning back to Judaism.

All you're doing is trying vainly to change the subject and redefine what "never believed" applies to.

It sure doesn't apply to anyone who has ever believed.

You see, the words "ever" and "never" are NOT the same. Not hardly.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

Again your title of this thread is.
2 Thessalonians 2:12 teaches eternal security.

WHERE IS ETERNAL SECURITY MENTIONED IN 2 THESSALONIANS 2:12?
It is clearly implied by the FACT that only those who NEVER BELIEVED will be condemned.

Again, those, like the second soil, who BELIEVED FOR A WHILE, cannot be said to have NEVER BELIEVED.

But if you continue to want to think so, your delusion is much worse than can be imagined.

But go ahead and try to explain how someone who EVER believed equals someone who NEVER believed.

That should be interesting and provide further insight into the workings of your mind.

they don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah,
The same as you. The Lord Jesus Christ paid for all your sins, making Him your Messiah. Just like the Jews, your theology tells us He didn't need to die for our sins............He could have just 'appeared' and said," Follow ALL the law and ALL that I say to be saved. My death means nothing, just do good."

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15

If a brother hates his brother, then he no longer has eternal life in him.
What you keep getting wrong is quite obvious.

Your claim is that such a person "no longer has eternal life IN him", even though you have previously claimed that eternal life is given only after one dies and is at the Judgment, so your theory is quite conflicted.

But, even more so, the verse does say what you claim. It says "eternal life is not abiding in him".

Lacking the discernment to understand the difference, you've been quite clear about rejecting the biblical teaching about abiding, which is about fellowship.

The Bible commands believers to abide in Christ. According to your theory that abiding in Christ is the same as being IN Christ, that would mean the person is in charge of the sealing with the Holy Spirit and have the power to kick Him out at will, and therefore be unsealed and no longer IN Him.

How ridiculous.

Those who HAVE BELIEVED (pay attention to the aorist tense) ARE SEALED, which is a guarantee of our inheritance until the day of redemption. Eph 1:13,14

If you disagree that these 2 verses that I have CITED say what I claim, then quote both verses and explain what they actually say and mean.

That would be a new tack for you to try.

Abiding in Him and being IN Him are quite different. One is volitional and the other is PERMANENT.

Are there any verses that command the believer to be sealed with the Holy Spirit IN Him? Of course there aren't.

Once sealed, it's PERMANENT. Until the day of redemption.

Did you ever notice that in Eph 1:14 the believer is said to be sealed as a guarantee until the day of redemption, and NOT until the day of judgment, or day of condemnation?

Oh, there's no problem there. I carefully read EVERYTHING you post. So I know just how much you misunderstand and twist Scripture.

Of course Jews who are wanting a new temple for animal sacrifices because they don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah, are unbelievers who never believed!
See? You really seem incapable of understanding Scripture. Neither the verse nor the surrounding context is anything about "Jews, a new temple, animal sacrifices". Maybe you've confused 2 Thess with Hebrews or Galatians. That was an issue in those epistles, but NOT in either 1 Thess or 2 Thess.

Maybe you need to read the epistle. 2 Thess is about the tribulation, the antichrist and the rapture, in case you never noticed.

Nothing about "Jews, a new temple, or animal sacrifices".

So your comments are totally irrelevant.

God will send them strong delusion.
It is clear that your views come from a very strong delusion.

What does this have to do with believing Jews who turn away from Christ, under persecution, back to Judaism? LOL!!!
Yeah, that's my question for you.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
The "them" that occurs in the first phrase, refers to ALL unbelievers. But since you love to disagree, please prove your theory about "Jews, new temple and animal sacrifices".

We know it refers to ALL unbelievers because the refers to them as "who did not believe". That is past tense, the aorist tense. Something they NEVER did in the past.

Again your title of this thread is.

2 Thessalonians 2:12 teaches eternal security.

More ridiculous questions.

Even when "eternal life" and security (shall never perish) IS mentioned in a verse (John 10:28), you just deny it's about eternal security.

So why would you be concerned about "eternal security" occurring in any verse?

The obvious point of the verse is that those condemned have never believed.

Where is your "pet verse" that those who once believed but now don't WILL BE condemned, since that is your beloved theory?

Fact: you've got no verses that say what you claim. Delusion exposed.

Not a thing wrong, of course.

But, what's wrong with a mind that doesn't want to understand what it means?

I've explained what "abiding" means many many times. But there is either too much denseness, or just an unwillingness to accept facts.

Please point out where 2 Thessalonians 2:12 shows us eternal security.
Finally, a good question. Eternal security is SHOWN by the fact that it is those who NEVER BELIEVED that will be condemned.

Therefore, those who used to believe will not be condemned. Not any different than John 10:28, that says that all recipients of eternal life shall never perish.

that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:12
The words "did not believe" refute all your theories.

Once a person believes,
1. they have salvation Eph 2:8
2. they have eternal life John 3:5:24 6:47, 1 John 5:11, 13
3. they are SEALED with the Holy Spirit Eph 1:13
4. they are GUARANTEED their inheritance until the day of redemption Eph 1:14
5. they SHALL NEVER PERISH John 10:28

So, go ahead and try to disprove these 5 points, using Scripture. Like I have. :)

Sure. When you try to explain what 1 John 3:15 means to you. That's when we see the twisting, which is your "explanation".

When you just quote a verse, you've done pretty much nothing.

Unlike when I explained John 10:28 using color coded words that make my point very clear and you've never even tried to refute.

Of course you don't. Your eyes are tightly closed so that you can't see it.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
I'm going to make a point about this verse. Please address my point and show how my point is incorrect.

Point: "all who did not believe may be condemned" means that those who have believed will not be condemned.

Now, explain how my explanation is wrong.

Your thread title says 2 Thessalonians 2:12 teaches eternal security.
Sure does.

Here let me copy and paste it for you to see -
2 Thess 2:12 teaches eternal security
Very good. You certainly have demonstrated the skill of "copy and paste".

Please point out where this verse mentions eternal security -
I'm sorry that you're having such a hard time understanding the OP. I never said the verse mentions "eternal security". In fact, those words never occur together in Scripture.

But, big deal. The principle is clearly there, for those whose eyes are open.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12=
It is in the words "they all may be condemned who did not believe".

Those who will be condemned are those who "did not believe".

But you never notice the aorist (past) tense here. All you've ever focused on is the present tense, and then you abused it of its actual meaning and twisted it to mean something it does not mean.

But I won't ever let you get away with such shenanigans.

Because the verse tells us WHO will be condemned, it also indicates who WON'T be condemned.

Who WILL BE condemned: those who NEVER BELIEVED.

Who WILL NOT BE condemned: those who DID BELIEVE. Even in the past tense.

Now, face the fact that this verse shows that those who ever did believe will not be condemned.

I never ever suggested that unbelievers have eternal security. That false idea belongs to universalists who claim that everyone will be saved.

Makes no sense.
Your posts sure don't.

Believers have the promise of eternal life, not unbelievers.
Do you really believe this?

If you do, why do you continue to promote the nonsense that a saved person can perish?

Do you believe that God always keeps His promises, or just some of the time?

Try as you might, you just can't prove your false claim that 2 Thessalonians 2:12 demonstrates eternal security.

You have demonstrated that you are willing to try and twist 2 Thessalonians 2:12 into an eternal security scripture though.

Thank you for exposing yourself as a false teacher.

That is just beyond funny. But in a weird way. lol

Those who HAVE BELIEVED are not condemned, but only those who NEVER BELIEVED (notice the aorist (past) tense).

that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:12
I challenge you to show any verse that tells us in plain words that those who have ever believed will be condemned, since that is your basic claim regarding loss of salvation.

You have demonstrated that you are willing to try and twist 2 Thessalonians 2:12 into an eternal security scripture though.
Again, beyond funny, and not in a humorus way.

Thank you for exposing yourself as a false teacher.
Jesus taught eternal security by making these points:

1. whosoever believes HAS (presently) eternal life. Jn 5:24 They possess eternal life. This indicates that they HAVE eternal life WHEN they believe. You've failed to show otherwise. But if you can show otherwise, all you've done is contradict Jesus. Real smart.

2. Jesus gives eternal life. Therefore, He gives eternal life to those who believe. Jn 5:24, 6:47, 1 John 5:11, 13

3. Recipients of eternal life shall never perish. Jn 10:28

This is eternal security in the clearest of words.

Rejecting this is nothing other than rejecting what Jesus said.

Another dodge with no proof of how 2 Thessalonians 2:12 promotes or teaches eternal security. LOL!!!

No mention of:

Eternal
Security
Eternal life
Salvation

What a laugh.

Do you really believe that denial is pleasing to the Lord?

that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:12

Irrelevant and silly. The point that you keep dodging is that the verse speaks about those who never believed (did not believe) who will be condemned.

So why do you continue to push the theory that those who DID believe but later on ceased to believe (Luke 8:13) will be condemned and perish?

The verse is clear: those who NEVER believed will be condemned.

There are no verses about "former believers" who will be condemned.

What a laugh.
Your persistent denial of truth is no laughing matter.

Even if you think so.

When will you provide any verse that tells us that those who cease to believe WILL BE condemned, or perish?

That would solidify your theory, but as it is, I've shown verses that prove the following:

Once a person believes,

1. they have salvation Eph 2:8

2. they have eternal life John 3:5:24 6:47, 1 John 5:11, 13

3. they are SEALED with the Holy Spirit Eph 1:13

4. they are GUARANTEED their inheritance until the day of redemption Eph 1:14

5. they SHALL NEVER PERISH John 10:28

And you've never shown ANY verse that "trumps" any of these verses.

The "laugh's" on you.
