You're not going to comment on those who kill babies to the tune of 40 million a year?

That would be nearly 30% of pregnancies being aborted. You really think that's accurate? You got a source on that number or are you just parroting something you heard or saw once?
How about 1 in every 160 US pregnancies being stillborn? Or how about tens of billions of natural miscarriages throughout human existence. If there's a God, then he is by far the most experienced abortionist of all time.
I chuckled when I read that one.
I thought to myself, "No way am I gonna pass up making a thread outta this one!"
He's against evolution though, and that's what counts.
You're not going to comment on the folks who kill babies at the tune of about 40 million a year are you?
And what monster would that be? Would it be the same as the monsters who kill the unborn to the tune of about 40 million a year?
Nope. Abortion regardless of its moral status is irrelevant to my point.
I was pointing out that an angel slaughtering children indiscriminately barred only by blood sacrifice sounds like the request for an angel of darkness... yet sent by the good guy.
Such as?
It's very relevant. You're feigning outrage at the killing of children because it's a bible story, which you don't believe bit on the other hand, you have no outrage at the killing of 40 million babies a year.
As long as you can mock and continue with your anti-Christian rant, you're fine. You're hardly the first person to behave in such a manner.
FYI, that "child killing angel" was none other than Jesus Christ. Now can you please describe why the child killing angel doesn't seem to be a horrifying thing of darkness yet sent by God?
Not according to the KJV of the Bible it wasn't. The KJV states that it was God Himself.FYI, that "child killing angel" was none other than Jesus Christ.
Do you really think that none of them were children? And surely you don't think they were all children, do you?
Then quote the KJV and let's take a look. Not according to the KJV of the Bible it wasn't.
Whereas the KJV quotes it:Exodus 12:23 "For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you."
See the difference?Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
The only difference I see is that you reformatted your quote to capitalize the entire word "Lord" whereas I didn't. My source does have it in all Caps though (albeit small caps). What difference do you think that makes? Your below comment doesn't answer that question. Then quote the KJV and let's take a look.
Don't give me that "Lord" stuff.
For instance, you quoted:
Whereas the KJV quotes it:
See the difference?
The events in Matthew happened a couple of thousand years after the events chronicled in Exodus. And before you ask what difference it makes, qv:
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
That was Jesus, being called "the child killing angel."
That has got to be the personification of sadness and desperation, clutching at straws doesn't even come close.Don't give me that "Lord" stuff.
