  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Nope -- a mature one.

I define embedded age creation as: maturity without history.
Which is completely illogical because the earth has history.

Very, very few people here can remember that.

Probably because they're too busy ridiculing it, rather than trying to understand it.

If I laugh & ridicule the FOIL method for multiplying two binomials, chances are I'll end up not remembering what FOIL stands for.
No, we ridicule the idea because the only way it works is to ignore everything about the earth that suggests a history.

Okay, let's work with this.

You've defined "Embedde age." Thank you.

Now, please define "Maturity" and "History" for us.

You live in America so you would be the last person to know because you are surrounded by creationists, you can not see the wood for the trees, American Christians are turning away from Christianity in most part because of creationism.
Why is atheism growing so fast in the US? each city has it's own atheist branch now with more being formed every week,
it can't all be down to the noises made by the crazy far right Republicans.

If you were on the outside looking in you would see a lot more, people all over the world laugh at creationists and think all American Christians are creationists, creationists are seen as the nuts of Christianity just as the suicide bombers are seen as the nuts of Islam.
When it comes to religion perception is everything, it's not what you are it's what you are seen to be.

The saying is forest for the trees, not wood for the trees. But I note your inability to cite any relevant sources, hence your argument is meaningless.

Just type into YouTube, crazy, loony, nutty Christians or creationists and you will see for yourself. (you won't)

Unfortunately for all of us apart from the meaning we give to our lives everything is ultimately meaningless.

Gotta wonder what it means when fundamentalists - the people who cling most tightly to the fundamentals of a religion - are viewed as silly by more moderate followers of the religion...

I define "maturity" as having all the attributes it takes to do what is expected of you.

"History" would be defined as a series of events in any given timeframe.

Well then, since the Earth is not a "you", your embedded age definition fails miserably. ;)

You can't have it both ways. It either is or isn't.

Expected by whom?

"History" would be defined as a series of events in any given timeframe.

And when that history leaves scars, we see it.

When we see the scars without the history that left them, we see something fishy.

Would zircons need Pb in them in order to do what is expected of them?

What K/Ar ratio do igneous rocks need in order to function, and why?
I'm not their judge.

So you can't offer any reason why embedded age would produce radiometric dates in the billions of years?

Hmmm... AV has a theory which fits no facts, answers no questions, and doesn't work with what we have observed to be so.

Color me shocked...

That's your arena -- not mine.

Embedded age is nothing more than maturity without history.

Your problem is that all the stuff that points to a history older than 6000 years that is unnecessary, and that is just about everything, makes your god a deceiver. And all you can offer in reply is "I'm not their judge" and "That's your arena not mine". Sorry, but it's your hypothesis that causes god to be painted as a deceiver, not ours. I'm sure your god would be thrilled with your work on that one.
