  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Knowing God.

Can we truly know everything there is to know about God? And are we capable of knowing or even comprehending all there is to know about God? James tells us, “draw near to God and He will draw near to you” - Jm. 4:8. James is able to say this inspiration only because of Jesus who was an aspect of...

    Feature Blog: Bds.

The war has never ended for the Jews. From the moment they were chosen, satan started to annihilate them. They didn’t ask to be chosen but kind of ended up that way without even a debate or a referendum. Of course, all this has to do with when Abram was called by God to start a nation that would...

Doing Good To Evildoers And The Story Of Jean Valjean

Status: God's holding my hand as I walk very slowly. Still feel like I'm getting nowhere in my faith walk or in my life walk but surely I'm moving forward. Believers after the Apocalypse

Where is that scripture that talks about believers having their good works burned up or something, and whatever is left is their reward in heaven? I can't find that scripture.

Did God create a perfect world? Is God perfect?

I've seen some people on here saying that the world God created was not perfect, and neither is God himself, by arguing that 'very good' in Genesis 2 means only that creation was a positive outcome, not absolute perfection. What do you think?
