Noah's Ark was, in my opinion, a 4d brane structure that could house all the animals, as well as Noah and his family, with plenty of space left over.

In essence, I'm saying its inside was bigger than its outside.

A TARDIS. We know that's what you think.

Was it worth resurrecting an eight year old thread to restate that point?

With roughly over 5 Billion species that have died out, (which is over 99% of all species that have ever lived) the inside of the Ark must have been pretty large to hold them all so that after the flood they could than go extinct.

Species didn't board the Ark.

Kinds did.

ETA: The Ark was documented as the equivalence of 450 x 75 x 45 feet.

I submit it was 450 x 75 x 45 x 450.

Kinda adds a new dimension to it, doesn't it? ;)

Since we're adding to scripture, now is a good time to tackle all the other things that don't add up.

Since you like using AI, I went and asked ChatGPT about "kinds" from genesis in the Bible. It said that it's a term associated with YEC's. The way I read it is that even ChatGPT is also saying that your a YEC. :D

But I do understand your explanation even with there's no classification of "Kind" in the animal kingdom.

Kind = Genus

From the online etymology dictionary:

GENUS

(Latin plural genera), 1550s as a term of logic, "kind or class of things" (biological sense dates from c. 1600), from Latin genus (genitive generis) "race, stock, kind; family, birth, descent, origin"

And from the 1828 Webster's dictionary:

KIND

1. Race; genus; generic class; as in mankind or humankind. In technical language, kind answers to genus.

So the genus Andrena evolved all 1500 species since the flood, huh? List of Andrena species - Wikipedia

Sure.

Why not?

Do you know what the gestation period of the fruit fly is?
You do realise that this applies to other genera, right?

How did all the different elephant species evolve? There are quite a few of them that are extinct. Or did they all die in the flood?

I do not make a habit of siding with atheists, but when they are right one has little choice, doesn't one?

You will have to do a lot better than quibble over terminology to win any converts to YEC.
I like Bill Nye. Very intelligent man. He makes very good points as to why the story may not be taken as literal. For me, seeing the allegorical content makes me sing glory to God in the highest.

The Hebrew redactors drown the whole earth in Noahs fictional flood for the sake of covering up the fact that they were unable to trace their bloodlines of supposed authority back to a much older Adam.
Makes no sense everyone traces their bloodline back to Adam & Eve
